Ya, not buying what he's peddling. Not only is the Gargath drop portion of the story not believable, but his main argument of, 'CS restored it so it must have been obtained legitimately', is bogus reasoning too.
Lets start with Gargath; he's a Heroic World Boss, on Hoth, that drops not only BoE purples, but the BoP Magenta crystal recipes. It is extremely implausible that the group would dis-ban before actually looting the boss, or not look at the boss at all to see what dropped. Even if you wanted to take into account his story about killing vendors on Tattoie and getting three buffs, so it would only drop to him, he neither mentions said vendors specific names, or said buff names, which could be traced back to the actual database entries on sites like Torhead, which would give some credibility to his story. As is, he's just mixing up elements from the Magenta Adegan Crystal method, which is established canon, and weaving his own tale.
Regarding Customer Service 'restoring' the item, ya, I can actually buy that they could restore the Mastercraft White Hawkeye Crystal to him, if he originally had said item on his person at some point. And anyone who has played this game knows someone, or has had items 'disappear' from their inventory. Hell, I've had daily quest augmented items somehow become restored back to their original status, making me lose a day's worth of daily mod rewards, so I know it happens. I can guarantee you though that CS has relatively no bloody clue about what items should be obtainable or not; only that you had said item and want it restored and only if the database logs prove that case; that would be their 'in depth investigation.' The week long time frame is most likely due to just how many tickets they get vs how many can be worked on by their comparatively small CS group.
So, while it's still a goof on BW CS to 'restore' the item back to him, it's no proof that he obtained the Mastercraft White Hawkeye Crystal legitimately in the first place. To me, he hasn't proved anything of substance besides CS screwing up and restoring an item that BW says was not originaly legitimately obtained.
Cleared 16 man EV last night. Damn, tough (with our scrubs)
He also posted on reddit and was calling people "kids" "noobs" ect for not knowing how to get the white crystal yet when people were asking for any hints like when Magenta broke. Shit like that is shameful and i'd be embarassed to have a fuckwad like him in the same guild as I was. He is getting the attention he wants though which is what it was all about..

I play Sage healer myself but in our group we have several healers of other classes and I can tell you there much improved since beta well trooper healing at least smugg is about the same which isn't to say its bad just no improvement there. Also bubble is only 2.2k and its not as useful as you might think it bugs out often becoming uncastable on certain people until they zone(force jumping being griped or anything that moves you as bubble is cast on you will make it uncastable on you till you zone). At best its useful to partially mitigate 1 attack every 20sec's seeing as in hard/nightmare mode nothing is going to hit for less then 2.2k.
Are sage/sorc best healer yes but not by a large margin anymore with the nerf's to bubble and healing trance at the end of beta for PvP's sake it really did knock us down a few peg's to the point where only very slightly better at best.
Game Update 2 will include three major pieces of content, as well as "full" Legacy game content. There's Part 2 of Rise of the Rakghouls, a brand new planet called Denova which has an 8-16 man Operation (with a new tier of armor called Xenotech) and a new Warzone. There may also be the release of several new space mission dailies. Guild banks will be added, as well as full legacy support.
Regarding the "full" Legacy game update, game director James Ohlen explained: "It's a system that really benefits players who like to play alts - instead of having characters who have no relation to each other you can create a family, and when you're playing any member of that family you earn experience points for your Legacy tree. Those then unlock abilities and perks that help improve all your characters. I think that's going to be popular. Characters can be related to your main character in all kinds of ways - siblings, father, son, friend, you could be married to them..."
I've been playing this game lately. It's okay, but so linear. I've grouped up a couple of times with other people but everything can be done solo. The storyline is amazing though. I've been playing a Jedi Guardian haven't touched the other classes yet.
Damn that sigatar sucks, lol
Grand, more abilities that I wont have space for on my bars D;
From 1.1.2 patch notes:
and further explaination. The number of commendations in Champion and Battlemaster Bags has been greatly increased, and the direct item trade tokens appear less frequently in Champion Bags. This change allows players to obtain PvP gear at a steady and significantly more predictable rate with an occasional bonus.
So basically, it sounds like people will actually be able to get tier 1 PvP gear finally, and by the time they are in full T1 they might have a couple pieces of tier 2. Then when they hit valor 60 they can finish up tier 2 rather quickly and get battlemaster tokens at the same rate they are today, so it still takes time to get full Battlemaster gear.Let me just point this out, since there's confusion about it.
The 1.1.2. bag changes have reduced the RNG element on drops DRAMATICALLY. Exactly what you guys asked for.
Instead of hoping to get specific item tokens, you now get (more) commendations that you can turn into an item of your choice. That is a lot more deterministic and reliable than opening bags and hoping for a token.

I like it, if only because it gives tier 1 gear a purpose so that fresh 50s aren't getting 5-6 T2 pieces after their first week of being 50.

Hi,
I wanted to drop some notes on the changes made to the BioChem profession in the patch (1.1.2) that just went onto the Public Test Server, how they fit in the big picture and how we are proceeding forward with crafting professions in endgame in general.
First off, we removed the requirement to have the BioChem profession to use Energized and Exotech stims and adrenals. This was done to (a) remove pressure of players to pick up BioChem for optimal combat performance and (b) to open up the sale of BioChem products to a larger audience on the Galactic Trade Network.
Additionally, we've reduced the effectiveness of the BioChem exclusive Rakata Stimpacks to be equal to Energized stimpacks. Their intended benefit is the cost savings they provide over time, not an increase in power. We are also in progress of reviewing the creation costs of many consumables in the game against the economic realities (acquisition cost of purple mission materials on our live servers) and will likely make adjustments to these in the future.
It is our intention to gradually, over multiple patches, reduce the impact of situational consumables on endgame combat resolution and shift the factors which determine the outcome of combat more towards personal skill. As part of this effort, specifically for PvP, we are also working on changes that will reduce the gear related power difference between new characters at level 50 and players in full PvP gear. We feel that at the current time, this difference is too high.
On a more general note about crafting, our changes to make BioChem consumables freely tradeable are just a small first step as part of a larger scale effort to extend our crafting gameplay, for all professions, into the endgame.
Major changes are currently on schedule for the next major content patch, such as extractable basemods (armoring, barrel, etc.) from purple items, critical crafting successes on orange outfits, more bind-on-equip schematic drops for artifice and other professions, increased relevance of augments, better reverse engineering chance, and other improvements. We want to create significant incentive for players to engage in the crafting economy – as provider of goods or supplier - without requiring players to take up a specific profession as a ticket into endgame.
Long term, our plan is to evolve Star Wars: The Old Republic’s game economy to a more player driven model, strengthen and improve the GTN and embrace the game’s extensive appearance customization throughout the game. We have a long list of improvements planned for that but we’re also anxious to hear from you. Feel free to use this thread to give us your feedback on the topic!
Regards
Georg
I just hope they change the GTN UI. It isn't awful, but eh... it could use a little bit of improvement imo.
The only thing I will say I like about the GTN, is that the autopricing is decently reasonable. Example would be that you do make your money back, or profit, from companion gift autopricing on abundant or higher missions. The only prices I've felt were messed up at the drop blue (blue schematic) vs a reverse engineered blue schematic. Drop blue was substantial higher than RE blues.
I wish that they would add an armor slot filter. I don't wanna sift through 800 pieces when I just want to look for new boots. Also, to have better sorts at vendors, some have rather large lists and it is a pain to find stuff you can actually use.
More specific details on bag changes
Sounds like they are purposefully letting everybody gear up like crazy right now, because in march its all going to be for naught with whatever changes they have planned. It's obvious from comments here that the patch note is not specific enough, so we'll get it updated before the patch goes to the live servers. Here are some specifics:
Champion Bags now always contain 15 Centurion Commendations AND 7 Champion Commendations. Battlemaster Bags now always contain 15 Champion Commendations. So Centurion gearing up progression for new level 50s is increased significantly and Champion gearing up progression will be steady.
We do still intend on adding more intro level 50 PvP items as well as change how Battlemaster Commendations operate toward the same 'steady' goal. It's just the scope of that change was more than could be done in a weekly patch as it included vendor changes, conversions to existing commendations on players already, etc.
That being said, the current interim 'gearing up' system will change significantly when we introduce Ranked Warzones (aiming for Game Update 1.2). Stay tuned for more details on that.

The GTN is awful. I stopped using it for anything.
Catch is in my guild, your friend got trolled, cause hes a tard. This is complete BS. Vicious (the character mentioned in the video) is a RL friend of mine and told me the whole story about how he lied about the Crystal and tried to parade around the server like he was the first one to obtain it.
