Novare Coast is awesome. That is all.
I'm really looking forward to the new warzone. The current ones are getting old.
I am a Battlemaster but I have had zero luck getting Battlemaster commendations from the bags. I have gotten 1 commendation from the weeklies/dailies. Thank goodness for the purchasable one or I'd have no gear.
They had mentioned that its similar to civil war as far as having to claim turrets, what are the objectives in the new WZ?
Also been playing since launch and have mainly done PvP and am looking forward to a new warzone and same faction Voidstar. My server is like 80% empire so I'm getting tired of doing huttball![]()
The objective is to blow up the other teams base. There are 3 cannons; mid which is halfway between both bases 'front' doors and then a left and right, each is ~ as far from the base as mid is (think triangle). To deplete the other bases shields and win, you will need to control 2 (or 3) turrets. Owning one turret does jack for you, nothing at all. Each base has a ----------- under the 'access point'. As you cap the base the ---------- will start to fill with your color. There are two nice things about this new system. First is that multiple people capping makes the bar swing faster and second if you play against stupid people you can keep getting little 1 second caps to add to the bar (I think 2 seconds is the min to move the bar).
That help at all?
So is this game dead now? Or has just BG given up on it?
I honestly don't think 1.2 will change the game enough to warrant my sub, especially with how lackluster the Legacy system is looking. Most of the people that are on Canderous Ordo with me have either quit or are planning to quit when Tera or GW2 comes out.
That being said, I had a blast duoing to 50 on my first character back in December. All in all, I consider it a good $60 spent, although I probably should have cancelled a month or so ago to save my sub fees.
edit: I forgot to mention that they never really fixed ability delay, lol. It's essentially swept under the rug by the devs now so I highly doubt it'll ever be completely fixed. What a goddamn shame.
i feel exactly how Ezek does, i wish i didn't pay for a couple extra months, but i had fun at first, then friends quit. maybe i'll check it out again some day.
nah the people who actually enjoyed the game just realized posting about swtor shit on bg is an effort in futility because of retarded trolling
I still really enjoy the game. Waiting for 1.2, working, etc. A lot of my guild mates are busy IRL or pulled away by other games.
na tol is right. Not saying it isn't deserving of all the criticisms against it, but there was a lot of baseless bashing that happened in excessive. Basically beating a dead horse because it was fun for people to do. Thats kinda why I stopped trying to defend it.
For whatever its worth 1.2 looks pretty damn good. There is a noticeable increase in gameplay quality, and it feels much more like WoW on the 1.2 PTS right now.
Decided to pick the game up again because I like the class stories, rolling a new BH me and my GF decided to do the first flash point. Some noob was trying to get people to join so we invited him to be nice. A BH chest piece drops and he rolls on it and wins, but can't use it. So we kick him and move on. After a few mins he starts spamming me that I'm a dick and I should get aids and die. Honestly don't care but I decided to call a GM (was just expecting them to say /ignore and move on). But I got a good laugh out of this.

You invited "Tryannuss" what did you expect?

Star Wars The Old Republic: Try Hard Edition (Limited Time Offer)
http://www.neoseeker.com/news/18752-...riend-invites/
"There must be some Old Republic players out there complaining they don't have enough friend invites to share with their 25 closest buddies, because BioWare has raised the MMO's Friends Trial limit from three to a whopping 25. That or EA desperately wants to bolster their potential subscriber base, and they're casting a very wide net.
This move follows several consecutive free-to-try weekends, which leaves many wondering about the state of SWTOR. So in case you couldn't convince your 25 BFFs to try the game for a weekend, maybe throwing an 7-day trial their way will work. All you need to start spamming your friends is an active Old Republic account.
The Friends Trial allows players to try the four origin planets and "experience the opening adventures for each class." The trial's level range caps at 15.
EA and BioWare's recent efforts to attract more players certainly feels a tad excessive. With MMOs, we normally don't see this sort of pattern unless a game is struggling to keep its subscriber base, but in February, Old Republic reportedly held 1.7 million active subscribers. Talk about mixed messages."
Scenario I
EA: We can't generate precise subscriptions numbers, however we assure you that they are high. We can also say that we have generated 2.5 million total accounts. This amazing invitation will bolster our numbers and maintain our healthy player base as we strive to make this the bestest MMO experience ever.
Scenario II
EA: Oh welcome! Welcome to discount EA store!
Me: Yeah, listen. I’m running a resale business. But I can’t get enough of people's unwanted crappy SWTOR editions to keep up, so I'd like to buy some of yours.
EA: Oh you do so good business! You so clever!
Me: I get by. Let's see I'm going to need some standard, deluxe, and collector's editions.
EA: O.K. What edition would you like?
Me: Oh I don't know. I guess I'll take that edition there.
EA: Oh! You make so good choice! Oh it’s beautiful! Look it’s beautiful!
Me: And um, maybe I'll take that one for $149.99.
EA: Oh that’s best one. You so clever. You take advantage my low prices.
Me: How about that digital deluxe edition for $79.99.
EA: You got good eye. You so clever. I'm getting taking advantage. You like fuck EA company.
(*Long Pause*)
Me: What did you say.
EA: I know you walk by my store and you say "Oh there is nice EA company I think I go in and I fuck him" you EA company fucker you.
Me: Wait a minute. How much do you pay for this stuff?
EA: Oh I pay millions, all thanks to the Hero Engine, and you come here and fuck me.
Me: O.K. Quit the act. I am not fucking you and you know it.
EA: No, no, you fuck me!
Me: No, no you fuck me! Fuck you!

I gave up on swtor months ago, it was good for a time but the community was poor and too many people expected it to be a polished wow clone, what really killed it to me was the valor buff & the whole bag nonsense, 30k valor for doing your daily quests, 90 for your weekly, you could hit battlemaster in a week, really irritated me that i'd worked so hard to get BM & WH then it gets nerfed.
