I'm still not a fan of the UI they are using which they said is the regular one now so hopefully they can be customized so we can change them to something else. Tatooine looked pretty good though considering it was being run on low settings. Blizz seemed to have some cool skills there also.

Here's the videos of the 45~ minute demo and Q&A from earlier today. Game graphics were turned all the way down to min to help save on bandwidth for the stream and some elements were turned off completely.

G4TV has TOR tomorrow at 3PM PDT. Unsure if they are showing the same stuff from GTTV or if its different stuff, rumors i've seen say its a boss fight, but rumors be rumors.

Oh... and as far as I know they showed only a CG to the press at E3 (floor room doesn't count for show room presentation). CG's don't make a game, combat does. I think its pretty sad that after 3 years of E3 they are timid to show some amazing doctured up footage of the game that can make it look awesome (even if it turns to be that or not). You all can defend the game h/e you want and call me all this shit, but it all looks like they trying to hide stuff.

Anyways, keep being mad, its pretty funny

MMOs are a different beast than single players games, and Bioware is horribly ashamed by any bugs that are apparent. ToR isn't bug free yet, and if they showed a demo of it in the presentation it would just be more bait for haters to rip on, and they fucking know this. But go ahead and try to rip out any little shred of disappointment and turn into the failure of the decade, because if people wanna do that they will. Everything is gonna have faults, and nothing is gonna be perfect. Anybody who wants to rip on something will pretty much always have some kind of base to work off of, its just a matter if they really feel like doing it. That kind of behavior just shows what kind of people those guys are.

Those types of people are the only thing people are mad about here, nothing else.

And yes, i'm sure theres a lot of people who would love to see the would-be beast fall, but its not gonna happen. Deal with it.

Every beta tester says that it should be released by the end of this year.

But really, its such a cock tease that they haven't announced the date yet. Even if its just a placeholder date like "12/1/11" just so i have something to look forward to other than hours of BF3 and Skyrim

Releasing a date and pushing it back looks bad. As far as E3s its been to, yeah 3 CGIs is definitely bad hype build up and that last "Choose" compilation one was just a brutal tease for nothing at the end. I don't think the dev time is too out of line compared to other MMOs out there, its just been something everybody's been staring at for almost 3 years now. Thats also another reason you don't start releasing CGIs for your game when its over 2 years away from release

Hey I'm very experienced at the internet. Please stop posting in this thread. If you think this game will be disappointing, your opinion is already known. There's no need to continually provoke arguments whereas you can just stop posting. Let the people that really want to learn more about this game not have to worry about a side conversation really pushing away the content being rolled out of E3.
