I mean do you really want to listen to 5-10 minutes of dialogue for a regular quest when it ends with you killing 10 of w/e mob or gathering 20 things.
• Some story elements are very strong and overall its a plus.
• Flashpoints are fun at first, but doing group flashpoint instances over and over again for grinding dungeons just makes em take longer. Have you done a WoW RP instance? How long did it take for you to wish you could skip all that RP and finish said instances 10 minutes faster. Don't get me wrong, its a blast the first few times you do an instance... but then you just press enter over and over again to skip everything yet still have to afk for 5 minutes because of that one person who wants to listen to it all. And trust me, there is a LOT of RP in every instance.
• While awesome deflecting stuff w/ a lightsaber, combat is still rather clunky and stiff.
• While its awesome to have giant landscapes that remind you of XI awesomeness, map UI is terrible and makes it hard to find anything in cities. Literally, you get a quest to talk to somebody in a city, then spend the next 15 minutes running across the city to talk to the next npc... then going outside of the city to kill 10 mobs... to only need to run, once back in the city, another 15 minutes to talk to the npc to turn it in.
• The best way to put things into perspective is that it overall has the flow of an offline Bioware RPG. In DA/MA/ect... spending 30 minutes to 2 hours running around a town to talk to ppl is fine. But in a mmo it feels out of place. But that's what happens in the game... you often spend more time talking to ppl and traveling then killing mobs (least once you get out of the noob island).
• While alts seem like it would be perfect for all the different stories. Outside of the noob island, 90% of the progression is the same outside of the main mission quests. So you will be wanting to skip 90% of the conversations.
• the game does a good job of immersion because of all the story elements. But repeating all that stuff or grinding instances gets really boring. It's just not very different then what is already out there outside of the story focus and the Star Wars universe. It's fun to level in since you can basically treat it as any offline Bioware RPG, but at the end of the day your gonna be left w/ the typical Raid/instance/BG PvP/World PvP area grind. In that respect it doesn't try to differ from the already very generic mold of stuff.
there is more but that should give you an idea
