Wow, I'm actually surprised at that. Any link to patch notes anywhere?

Haven't seen them yet, all I know is Friends&Family are back to testing.
I wouldn't expect patch notes until a few more days, up to a week. There is alot of these notes and there will have to be alot of screenshots taken, then they'll have to piece it all together. Very time consuming process.
I'm shocked at the news of huge changes, hopefully its not just 30 pages of class balances I can't appreciate the value of because i'm not a tester.
There's a little area on Tatooine that is going to automatically flag whoever enters it for PvP. Also, it is for the level range of the planet which is level 20 something?. In other words, it's an open world PvP zone aimed at lower level players and i do hope there's restrictions in place to keep higher level players out. I could be wrong but this is what i believe to be what it is based on information i have seen.
On a side note, hundreds of thousands of people will be getting invited to beta in the upcoming weeks.

I hope my weekend invite from a couple weeks ago didn't ruin my chances of getting another...
2 new open world pvp areas, 1 with a mission as you enter
Added a new Open World Free-for-All PvP area on Tatooine where any non-group member can be attacked,
regardless of faction
for a whole list pm me...
Sounds cool. I really hope they continue to expand on the PvP, especially since they have some of the Mythic team working on it.♦ Open World PvP on Ilum has been updated and improved. Players who enter the Open World PvP zone now
obtain a mission and rocket launcher, and must fight to control five points on the map.
Patchnotes on alterswtor.com
Lots of changes people asked for, new class skills, talent trees reordered, new flashpoints, etc.
Anyone else get the email? Testing has started again.
Email? That'll never happen.
Edit: So I checked my preorder and it says "Status: Order Submitted" with only a $5 charge on my card.
WTF
Pretty sure that's normal.
James Ohlen (lead director or SWTOR) just started a twitter account.

This guy is like an open book, talks about SWTOR the same way notch talks about minecraft, and as casually.
I'm shamelessly retweeting and mentioning him in hopes to get a beta invite.
SO I'm not gonna read 92 pages. Is this game going to be worth getting when it comes out in Dec? Need to give some people ideas for Christmas gifts, thinking the NQ edition might be one. From what I see I can roll single player with NPCs and do fine. Is the content there?
Short Answer: Yes, its a great MMO on the surface
Long answer: If you nitpick something to death, you won't be happy with this game if you're an absolute hardcore MMO player. There are a lot of familiar and borrowed ideas in this game to make it feel as if you've done some of this before. But a lot of that is covered up if you just want to play another good Star Wars game that does have a high replay value (all things considered).
