I believe another invite.... unless you were one of those full time testers.

Can someone from beta give a "ffxi job to swtor class" comparison (or Aion/Rift)? Thinking I might want to try Consular, but the sniper branch of the Operative looks nice too...

Not sure how it really compares to classes from other games, but the "roles" are all pretty similar:

Jedi Guardian/ Sith Juggernaut - Melee tank or DPS, single lightsaber Warrior tank type class
Jedi Sentinel/ Sith Marauder - Melee DPS, dual wield lightsabers Warrior DPS type class
Jedi Sage/ Sith Sorcerer - Ranged DPS or healer, single lightsaber mage type class
Jedi Shadow/ Sith assassin - Melee DPS or tank, double bladed lightsaber rogue type class
Bounty Hunter Mercenary/ Trooper Commando - Ranged DPS or healer, dual wield blasters/cannon gun ranger type class for dps or cleric type for healing
Bounty Hunter Powertech/ Trooper Vanguard - Ranged tank or DPS, single blaster/rifle not too sure what to compare these to really
Smuggler Scoundrel/ Imperial Agent Operative - Ranged DPS or healing, single blaster/rifle these are kind of hard to compare also as they get stealth and cover
Smuggler Gunslinger/ Imperial Agent Sniper - Ranged DPS, dual blasters/rifle probably most similar to a ranger type class

Oh I will. I am wanting to make a Sith Juggernaut ( tank class ) when it opens on Dec. 15th... will be testing it today, I am hyped !

I'm going as Zetanio, not sure if we can choose servers or anything but I'd love to have some cohorts to play with. I'll be playing an Imperial Agent.

Well, in the patch notes, it said we should be able to choose because they are doing their first "real" stress test instead of throwing the weekenders to one server and the normal betas to another.

They are adding new servers specifically for the weekend testers but you guys do get to choose which server you go on.

The current three are Darth Malak(PVP), Cosmic Turbine and Leviathan(both PVE) if they give you all those options.
