Sponsor runs fail. It's only good when you're 100% sure the money is going to relic. I see so many broke people starting dynamis linkshells taking goldsmithing from 1-100, buying kraken clubs, making 4-8m a week off other people. I find it funny people are that desperate for some sorry ass AF2 that they don't care one person is making profit off them.

Sorry to derail, but I got 2 quick questions.

From what I've gathered the 3 Main cities are the best coin return from all others, while the other zones can drop a lot of assorted coins, the 3 main cities remain the best difficulty > coin return ratio.

Is that assumption correct? ^

What is the average coin return per city? (again I'm well aware you could come out with less than 200 including 100's or like the pic above 600+ coins) but what is the average?

Provided you have thieves doing their jobs, 250 coins should be average in a city (closer to 300 if you can full clear). This doesn't count 100's of course as those are harder to gauge.

Just to note, while Bastok may have the lowest price currency (at least that's what I remember), we've seen anywhere from 9 to 16 wootz ores drop on a run. This can be quite a nice bonus depending on how your shell deals with them.

How many are you going in with? How much are you killing? Min I'd think was 150.

additionnal question! : with how many members do you get 250 coins ~~/ city ? Around 25 ? It seems most of the dyna shells got this attendance.

I'm going to start with 2 runs per week, then move to 4 if the LS starts doing well, eventually I want to run 6 runs per week.

We usually have 30 or so people on our runs. It really depends on how much you clear and how well your thieves are doing.

You can only go in once every 72 hours so unless you have a linkshell with lots of alternate characters, you'll only be able to get 2 runs per week.

Good luck getting the 75 or more characters to reliably do Dynamis then. Also, since you're even considering trying to get 6 runs a week together, good luck with whatever relic you're going after.

yeah hopefully I can build a small core of reliable players, the rest will be shouts.

Like I said hopefully if things look up I will do 6 runs and hope I don't go crazy.

DNAval, I have my doubts about your plans, but if you can pull it off.. good luck. But to answer your question: any of the cities, fully cleared, will reliably yield 250-350 single coins and typically 2-4 hundred-pieces. You're not going to come anywhere close to fully clearing with 25 members if half of them are pickups from /shout, so expect less.

Also, The easiest city to full clear is bastok, which I've done with 80 minutes to spare. Sandy is a little easier than Windy, and jeuno is just a cluster.

My old LS used to do the sell and split thing. It was nice to get a payout every month but one thing i noticed and most people didnt really upgrade their gear using the money. Leveling other jobs, etc doing something besides upgrading themselves to better the shell. When i left the old shell to move servers i checked the bank and seen that we had paid out over 4.3 billion gil over a year + (This was back when a byne went for 50k XD). So when i started my own shell a few months later i didn't want to do the split. We pool our coins and upgrade a relic for one lucky member at a time. Normally we pick our relic based on usefulness, loyalty of the member, attendance, and other things of the like. We just hit the year mark and we are about to finish up our 3rd relic.

This doesn't work for all shells, but i never liked to see 10 stage 3 relics just sitting around when if pooled could of finished 2 full relics.

Sure it is, if you can convince dozens of other members to work hard and be loyal, even though there's zero chance that they will ever see a share of the relic weapon / currency bounty. And they'll feel even better about having spent all that time on someone who retires or gets banned from the game 6 months post-completion.

Yup, if they are getting the afv2 they want, they will stay, its that simple. After that its about them lvling other jobs. I have a few members that have 2 to 3 jobs, and full afv2 for all jobs. They still came to events just because of the way the LS is, people becoming friends and enjoying seeing said friends get things. My shell has slowly grown to outside dynamis events because people enjoy to be around each other and want to do other events with the same people.
