Level synch and weapons

How do weapons scale down when you level synch? For dual boxing ENM 50 would I be better buying a weapon of the appropriate level or synching one down?

well i know the delay stays the same. velocity bow lvl sync'd to 30 was still shooting 216

Weapon damage is according to delay when scaled down, but also attack.

I went to promyvion dem with Mandau, Tutelary, X's knife, Deae Graetia ,

on the EP mobs right at the start, eyeballing it :

Mandau : 22-24 dmg per swing
X's knife : 23-26 dmg
Tutelary : 15-19 dmg
Deae Gratia : 17-20

Mandau's dmg did less than X's knife (but a small margin), at the end I just went back to dual weilding daggers. While technically my delay should have made my daggers do the worst damage, the lack of attack due to lower skill was hurting the damage output most.
