What would be the best application to use for...

working on other workstations virtually on my network. I have about 5 PC's and I hate having to alternate between them. I'm wanting to make it to where those other 4 PC's can be accessed virtually as if I was on the desktop with them.

I'm guessing something like VNC would be used for this? or Remote Desktop?

VNC and Remote Desktop are virtually the same thing, and they would be what you're looking for, assuming the boxes you're talking about are running Windows. TightVNC is my favorite, but I haven't looked at alternatives lately.

I'll give TightVNC a try. This is my first time doing anything "Remote" related so I guess I gotta start somewhere.

I like ultra vnc, it has a built in file transfer window and its free along with oodles of other features, any of the vncs are great though just pick the one you like the most.

Just a quick question, for the PC(s) that are not going to have monitors, they should run servers, then from my main PC. I should run the viewers. Right?
