I can play online, I was talking about the online Papitaur (sp?)workshop. I can buy the normal Georama parts, but I can't connect to the online store. It just tells me there's no items for sale.

At first, the whole monster-can-hit-you-from-anywhere thing I kinda ignored, but now it'd be pretty handy to actually be able to kite. Could kill so much more on my mage that way...

you still can kite to some degree, the monster can't "hit you from anywhere" you have to be in range when it queues up the attack.

Try out some of the other places =p That place is just easiest b/c you have your own cure bitch and an extra (albeit weak) fighter. I think it's also the highest level area you have access to in gr8 so the xp will be the highest there. The enemies in BR are a lot closer together, but only give 200xp a kill.

Yeah, it makes BR much easier to solo b/c when you're low on hp you can just run from him. He'll chase you but he'll go the same length each time, so you can time your cures and always stay away from him until you're ready to fight again. You can also use the shit on the field to get in his way. It only slightly stops him, but it is enough

I had planned on maxing my town out with all the enemy goodies (warrior/mage/chef), but I'm unsure if I should continue now due to the fact that I need to actually hang on to 10m for the trophy. Property development gets ridiculous, and I could always just immediately finish after the last purse...

I don't think 3 of the professions all at 50/50/50 at once is even possible with a maxed Geo. Not enough residents + items to make it work.

Also, I'm home now, if you wanna do stuff Pir and Qal. Only got a couple hours though, need to go to the Dr.'s in a bit to get my lab work results and all that jazz.

Also, to the people worrying about falling behind, don't. We're all doing rebirths soon, so we'll be back at 35 and running some of the GR7 stuff for EXP/GP most likely.

Fancy Lizard Scales are a rarer drop off Fire and Ice Lizards in GR7-9, Clay Puppet bangles drop off of Golems in the same tier of quests.

Hah. Now that I think about it... I guess that's why you can't trade Guilder lol. I forgot that logging off geonet isn't a universal character save, but rather a save file.

Rather easy to do that x6 times for 50/50/50 everything, and then just upload whatever you need to buy from your main save.

After my first rebirth and investing a whole lot more into the healing magic tree I'm really wondering something.

I've always focused on elemental spells and had plenty of room for them, but now I'm wondering if there's any way to open up your magic menu while engaged or if you're stuck having to disengage and target yourself to bring it up.

Its a real pain in the ass having so many spells but so little room to set them.

I'm less than 100k to GR8 if anyone wants to add me, PSN: PlanckZero, I'll probably finally try adding people myself after I rank up.

Well lets recap my week:

Got the game from GameFly on last Friday, instantly bought it, $43.99 - 10% - $5 coupon = $38 (w/ tax)

Played the whole weekend, expect for Super Bowl

Today = 1 whole week for me, and this is what I have accomplished so far:

Grave (Create a Character)
Level 40 (5,000 from 41), need 9 levels for reincarnate
Finished the game once
Guild Rank 7 (300,000 till next rank)
150,000 Guildar ($)
Binding Level 11 (70,000 points from 12, last level)

Trophy completion 9/26, 15% done:

7 Bronze:

Item Collector, Equipment Dabbler, Bronze Horns, Mercenary's Badge, Toadstone, Bronze Medal, Bronze Coin Purse

2 Silver:

Item Collector, Silver Horns

I'll be 11/26 by tonight or tomorrow night, will be getting the Rank 8 trophy (silver) + complete 1 full skill tree (bronze)

So 1 week, this is how much I have done, talk about a grind fest, good lord

Some tips to help people out, who are going for the platinum:

Save every item, yes do it, be a hoarder
Don't worry about Georama so much, not important, no trophies for it and its a huge money sink
The 10,000,000 trophy is not cumulative, you need that much on you to get the trophy, I spent way more than 100,000, and trophy didn't pop till 100,000 was collected and was in my possession, so be a miser, seriously

Mine, farm for materials every place (all shimmering points, all butterfly locations, all flowers/cacti), no matter what, those items may look useless in the beginning but they are a huge commodity for synthesizing new gear (3 trophies are based on it)

Don't worry about those Guild Rank 7 or 8 armors you see in binding, they are free, in the new game+ option

Best place to farm money and experience is the last stage/dungeon (Dogma Halls), keep rotating inside and they repop quickly
(Giants drop 300+ xp/200+ gil/good + rare materials, the guards drop triple digit guildar + theres a bunch of them, so xp piles up quickly, 7-9 guards @ 80-95 xp per kill add up quickly) till level 40+

For Guild Ranks, from 1-6 nothing beats Best Served Cold (Red Giant), it pays out around 5500+ GRP (Guild Rank Points) per 3-4 minutes
Just bee-line it to the boss and destroy it as quickly as possible
Me and 3 other characters at level 30 were knocking it out in 2:30 minutes, so in 5 minutes we would have 11,000+ points, + so much material items, so with-in an hour you can see that shit adds up quickly (Fastest we done it was 2:15)

Later missions pay out more, but are time consuming, do those when you are higher level than required (at least +5-10, to the required level), it becomes hella easier + S rank is achieved

From 7-8 Monument Memorial II is good, it pays out 16/17,000 in 10 minutes, yes best serve cold still beats by the ratio of 25,000 or 27,000 in 10 minutes, but you get good item drops from this mission which are really useful
(Be around level 40+ to be effective)

If you do best served cold quest over and over, you will have a fuckton of level 2 pearls, these are not rare items, so donate to the binding frog, there 240 per, and you 3-5 per fight and those add up quickly, I leveled Binding rank from 1-7 with the pearls alone
(Once you are done using them as donation points, you can sell them for 240 guildar (I think) each so that's another money making item)

Pearls, Chromium and Guardian go from level 1-6, 1-3 can be gotten easily, 4 is moderate, 5 will be scarce until rank 5-6 quest), 6 will be rare till you reach the end of Guild Rank 10+

Also the better your Guild Rank and doing a mission, the better drops you will get from a monster, if you killed Big Red (BSC Quest) @ level 3 GR, and again @ level 5-7 GR you will get different items in the loot pool for yourself

That's all for now, I'm still learning just like the rest of ya'll so I hope my insight can help a few souls

Fancy lizard scales drop off pretty much all the lizards, and clay puppet bangles drop off the golems in BR2 and also Only Game in Town.

All you need to keep in mind is that each save file is independant. Save twice, use one to liquidate all of your assets then use that capital to upgrade your Georama. Upload that Georama online then load you other save, then log online and buy your armor.
