Is it even possible to farm for materials now to create gear the next guild-rank up from you?

Also, where's the best place to grind some exp with a longsword for the last 2 levels at GR8? I can't handle how many people are longsword, I need out. (plus I mistakingly went gung-ho on the Spear tree when I was a nub, wasting many many points) Best thing I found so far was blasting through Ice Elementals and Waterspider Sprogs with Firewyrm Claw... but there's too many shitty Basilisks in Strike Like the Wind II.

Think Boot Camp II is the best till GR9, though if it's GR8, I heard Escort II is good. I like Boot Camp for how active it keeps you.

I've got everything upgraded for GR9 that I want so I started my BR II grinding last night. I'm just under a mil to go also. I hate missing out on getting black iron ores after quests, but spamming it from the world map is so much faster.

is there like a minimum move in a combo needed for a combo completion?

Pretty sure it was tested that you need at least 4 moves in a combo to get a combo complete. Anything less and you won't get it, even if you break the +10 in damage type.

Finally done with all 4 rebirths! I'm dual speccing with bows and longswords atm and finding bows much more useful, even with the lumberjack geo set. Still able to get all the stat boosts too.

In game name is Thiel if anyone is up for GR9 'ish. Hard to find people for those less commonly done quests like Azure Dragon II.

GR10 has been alot of fun so far, even though the drop rates are pretty low, it's not that bad if you're playing with people who don't suck and are actually pretty cool. So far, GR10 seems like a whole different league than GR8-9, haven't ran across a shitty player yet.

Also, I think I've done a few quests with you before, Zeille.

Mostly what I consider "bad" players are people who don't even get close to keeping up dmg with me by this point <.< No excuse not to know your stuff by gr10

I just beat the game last night and I am extremely disappointed with the ending. The fight wasn't even difficult and the ending itself was pathetic. I can understand setting things up for a sequel but God damn that ending was on the same level of Kid Chameleon.

Gsword hands down. Especially if they're using a katana.

At least a good chunk of lancers are not clueless.

I can't recall the name of your character, but I think the last time we quested was before I did my rebirths, so I was probably using a longsword at the time.
