Well that's mainly the levelling system, but what's the battle system gonna be like? Similar to FF12 or more similar to FF10? For some reason lately I can't seem to get into slower paced games (Having a hard time getting into Demon souls for example).

If you cant get into demon souls, an action RPG it'll be hard to appreciate WKC, its a slower paced game, and it plays more like ff XII

It's funny though, because I played FFXI for...ever and FFX is one of my favorite games of all time (right next to OOT) I think part of the thing with demon souls is I just get frustrated and bored of doing the same 5 minute part 3x over and dying on that stupid fireball dude XD. Maybe if I play with people online it will be more enjoyable.

it seems gameplay is a mixture of ffxi/ffxii and phantasy star online. Also just a FYI, the game was insanely popular in Japan, outselling metal gear solid 4. Believe me, I was extremely skeptical initially about this game, but given that I have loved ffxi, ffxii, AND PSO, it seems a great fit for the style of games I like to play

MGS4 has been out for quite a bit longer, so it's like comparing apples to oranges somewhat I suppose. Still impressive how sales actually INCREASED the 2nd week after launch for WKC.

Well for me it's this or Bioshock 2 so I have a tough decision...

I would go with Bioshock 2 as that's a safe bet to be good, where-as WKC is taking a risk since it's not easily compared to other games of its kind.

The lack of reviews is irrelevant at this point. What reviews and previews I've read so far mention that the online component won't be available until the release date. With the multi-player being a huge feature of this game, no review would be able to do the game justice anyway.

BTW, my wife informed me earlier that she'd called Wal-mart without letting me know to ask if they had it and would have it available at midnight. The said yes. Not sure if I trust them, but I'm gonna check it out anyway. I've gotten lucky in the past with midnight pickups from there. lolgamestoppreorder

I thought the 100+ hours of storyline was a slightly bigger feature than dragging online dipshits through some quests. Am I wrong?

To be honest, me purchasing this game mostly depends on whether the single player storyline holds its own... I guess I'm one of the few people who usually doesn't care for online interactions in most of my games.
