I'm generally the same. I don't care about online stuff because you're either stuck dealing with dipshit idiots who can't hold their own or elitist pricks who think nobody but them can do well. However, this game is one of the few that has me interested in actually giving the online a serious try. It just looks too fun potentially and is less likely to attract the crowd XBL style crowd.

From what I've seen I'm not sure if the single-player alone would make this a $60 purchase.

I doubt anyone is gonna have it in today, but if someone does that'll be pretty awesome. That being said, the GM of the Gamestop up the road is a close friend of mine, gonna swing by there a little later and check, I highly doubt that there's any chance it'll be in though. But that isn't to say it hasn't happened before with non street dated games.

I wonder if there is any chance my JP saved game will load with the international version. I plan on playing threw the single play campaign anyways but I really don't feel like doing all the low level repetitive Online quests over again to get 2500000 GRP to get to get back above GR9 rank...

I don't think I've ever heard of or come across a game that can use save data from one region of a game and load it up on a different region of the same game.
