2 reviews I have seen were 7.5 and 8, said multiplayer was fun, even if SP was somewhat cookiecutter

Gamespot gave it a 6 lol.

I still think im gonna get it tomorrow, though I might wait for a few player impressions? Not sure yet.

yeah, when have they ever given a good review to a non FF JRPG?

and yeah, I thought that was common knowledge, I think its good, because it doesn't force the central role onto your character, and leaves your character free for online. If it let you design your character, and then forced the character to speak, and act in a fixed way, it kinda stifles the sense of roleplaying. something like that

Skipping for now after that Gamespot review and some other stuff I've read. I'll wait til some actual user reviews come out. ME2 will have to keep me busy 'til Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno come out.

gamespot said that the dungeons are too big and that the fights are too easy. i was hoping this game will be as difficult as monster hunter, and if everything can be killed solo then there's really no point in playing it online.

You don't play the main story online, I would imagine the online stuff is much harder and requires at least 2 people to complete things.
