While I've heard of it happening, I've been present at about 6 pregnancies and never actually had it happen (pooping). And no, you can't bear the sight of your wife giving birth. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT LOOK DOWN. It'll be the worst mistake of your life.

There's an island not far from Puerto Rico where a nomadic tribe lives (I've met these people). Every girl there by the age of 14 was either pregnant or already had a child. If you were 16 and you didn't have a child yet, you were considered an old maid who would probably never have kids. They were absolutely appalled at the women in our group being in their 20s and not having any kids.

I got lucky when the wife pooped before the Epi. So nothing gross or smelly came out during the birth. We did the mirror thing, so she could see our baby coming out. It was a crazy thing to see. But I'm glad I did.
