Looks awesome. I loved Sands of Time (never played WW or TT though), and this looks like a great new direction for the series. This fall/winter lineup is easily one of gaming's best ever.
Couldnt agree more alina, im excited about this fall.
I love the art design, the last video pretty much sold me.
*cough*Ico*cough*
It does look damn tasty though.

One of my most anticipated titles of the fall, can't wait!
I tell you what that newest trailer is one of the most gorgeous game trailers I've seen in a long time.
I've been very excited for the game, but this comment from IGN has me warry though:

If you literally have to pause the game to switch weapons, of w/the preview makes it seems you need to multiple times each fight, then idk how fluid its gonna feel... sounds more like a "pause-mash" instead of a "button-mash" game. The combat movies make the game's combat look epic beyond belief... i just don't get why the writer worded the combat the way he did cause it makes it sound horribleThe key to mastering Prince of Persia's combat system is patience. You don't want to just mash the sword button a bunch of times and then throw in some other buttons at random. Instead of Sword-sword-sword-sword-sword-gauntlet-sword-sword-sword, Prince of Persia is more like, sword-pause-gauntlet-pause-Elika-sword-pause-gauntlet. The combat system goes against years of training from other videogames. It takes time, but there is a moment -- a distinct moment -- when everything clicks and suddenly you understand combat. And from that point forward, Prince of Persia battles become a well-choreographed dance.
IDK if it's also on the other consoles, but a remake of the original Prince of Persia with updated graphics is being released on PSN today.
Pretty sure they meant pausing/delaying your next attack, not literally pausing the game. For examples sake, say the sword attack launches the enemy in the air, if you attack immediately afterwards they'd be above/out of range, but you delay your next attack and then hit them again as they fall. Atleast that's how I understood it. I imagine they'll have something like, Square = Sword, Triangle = Gauntlet, Circle = Elika, or somesuch.
That first trailer was pretty fking sweet.

It looks fucking awesome, but a buddy of mine that's a Gamestop manager and played it at the managers convention they had in Vegas said the game looks really pretty but plays pretty awkward. Here's to hoping they've polished it up some since then, because I'd really love for this game to kick as much ass in gameplay as it does in visuals.
Even if controls are sorta-awkward, you usually get used to them after playing the game for a little bit. So i can understand somebody demo'ing the game having issues, but I've never played a game w/a diff control scheme that I didn't get the hang of after a few hours of play-time.
Gametrailers.com - Prince of Persia - Story Trailer
Extended Trailer its a little over 5 minutes long, gives a good look at the story and combines the most recent trailer, this game has got me really excited.
That is pretty much my exact thought on this after seeing one of the latest trailers. 'Leading' Elika around, the dark smoky things surrounding the enemy. It definitely reminded me of Ico.
Not at all saying that is a bad thing, or a negative thing at all, just that that is what i immediately thought of. I can't wait to play the game, but not for that reason. Looks amazing!
Oh my...what a trailer! Boss battles look sweet.
Absolutely cannot wait! I loved PoP: SoT, and the original old-school ones. If this is half as good as trailers, it's gonna be amazing. The new visual style for this is great.
I remember a while back, Ubi Soft had a poll on their site to vote for an achievement... I hope the one that was "fall from the highest distance in the game" wins, because I'd really like to get a good view from there.
