Ok so first and foremost, if you have anything negative or stupid to say about this, just GTFO and don't waste your time here.

That being said, has anyone else looked into these things? Me and my buddy Zach have been practicing things now for a few months and holy shit. It's amazing. I now feel like I can get any girl I want. Hell, two weeks ago I hooked up with a Maxim model with pretty much no real effort.

Anyone have any good stories to tell? Need a wing in your area? Tips? Anything of the like. Post here.

This weekend I will be in Austin, Texas with said friend going balls to the wall approaching every girl I see because, hell, there is no reputation to gain or lose there. If anyone would like a wing or an intro to the community lemmie know.

The problem here is that most of the guys that post here would sleep with most of the girls posted here despite whether they say they would or not, but the girls wouldn't want to sleep with them. Sounds like most people here need help!

The basics work but the canned routines crash in bigger cities because of saturation. I only looked this stuff up after watching that show on VH1 with Mystery. I find most of the stuff is entertainment and mental masturbation (i.e. people just thinking how well it would work instead of applying it). Oh yeah and the 'bootcamps' they offer for like 3,000 dollars are a borderline scam.

If you're really bad at interacting with women the stuff won't help you overnight but if you know anything and you read a bit on it it really expands your 'skill set'. That being said, I still use a lot of 'routines' prevalent in the community on a day-to-day basis such as The Cube, ESP, 5 Questions, etc. because they are just cool and not necessarily just for 'picking up chicks'.

I've seen the pickup artist with that mystery guy on vh1 and thought it was a total crock. The guy looks like a d-bag from head to toe with the way he dresses and the way he carries himself. Hes ridiculously confident, yes, but i cannot see his baloney working on any of the women i know personally. Not one. We would probably stand on the side and probably dog on him the entire time, not because we are haters, but because he comes off as such a pretentious, overconfident, dumbass.

Yeah canned routines are silly. They are good to start but that's about it. That being said, they are still useful, but once you really start learning about things it's soooooo easy to make up your own stuff and have it just be natural.

You miss the point a lot in your first sentences. The point isn't to cast a 'wide enough net,' it is to be able to cast any net and catch fish.

And yes I understand it's a matter of preference with the girls you choose. Hell I tend to love cute girls WAY more than I do the super model type. Also, when the hell did I ever say everyone here needed to be like me? I am not sure how you drew that conclusion.

The cube is a psychological test that is crazy accurate even if it is just cold reading. For the 5 question thing just go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aWoN8MvGKw . There are a lot of subtleties to it but when you get it down it's fun as shit to do, pickup or not.

I agree that the mystery conveyed on the VH1 show was a lot of shit. That's not how he really is, and you should agree because I assume you would agree that the show was made for television. I don't personally use his method, I prefer Style's (Neil Strauss) because you come across as much less of a douchebag. But the methodology is still very similar.

It was great, and ever since then I've really just ran it on anyone I've known relatively well just to amaze them and amaze myself at how accurate it can be.

Holy shit, wow at his horse. I think the horse is my favorite part of the cube. One of my gay friends actually used He to describe the horse and I was like...wow.

I used to lose the 5 question game a few times until I added the 'ah you got me' part after question 4, after that, bam, win every time.

And I agree it's bullshit, but not. The main thing most people don't get past is that all the things don't work for everyone. You really have to work a lot on 'finding yourself' and all that jazz before you realize what will work best for you. After you do that, it becomes much easier.

Also just go to mininova or demonoid and search PUA and download the biggest damn file you can find. I have one 17 gig file on it and another 25 gig dling now with tons of info.
