Creating a website for a End game shell

What I'm trying to do is make a site that will have a few things:

Main page for drops
Database for points that members will see
Event sign up
Forum
Treasury
Member profiles

Just am interested in customizing it for the linkshell, so Guildportal would be out of the question. I see many shells have their own site and if I could get pointed in the right direction that would help a lot. Thanks

Forum is easy, everything else is basically going to be a custom coded job to suit your needs and wishes. It will likely be programmed in PHP and SQL, to hold all the data for points, events and probably some integration of both into the member's profile page.

It's not a small job by any means, and you'd be better off asking someone on Caitsith if they'd be willing to help you out either for monetary fees in real life, or by way of compensation with ingame items and money. If Kooshay still plays ask him where he'd start and if he could get you started with the SQL databases and templates for event scheduling etc. Once you have the basic PHP and SQL integration, skinning the site is the easy part.

Don't forget also you'll need an admin back end to the site, which is likely going to be the hardest thing to actually code. Getting data from the SQL DB is easy, it's putting it in and making all the relevant fields easily understood and usable.
