one thing that bugs me about both the Iphone and G1 is Stereo Bluetooth so fucking hard to put on a device? am I missing something?

There have been like 5 topics for this phone now, people need to start searching and just bumping the old threads, but yeah the Android Mobile OS is really going to shine in the next year or so unless Apple drastically changes it's usual awkward stance on software development.

First generation + not many apps yet = wait a bit for the better models and support

Except google already invested millions making sure there were tons of apps ready for users of the G1 with the release of the Android App Store coinciding (or coming before?) the release date of the G1 itself. Also, there are already people developing applications for it, because the SDK is free and easy to get. (i.e. the exact opposite from the iPhone's)

I'm T-Mobile (currently use Sidekick LX) and due for an upgrade soon, but I'm probably gonna wait a couple of months for this. Shit if I wait until December I can ask my folks to pay for it for Christmas, that'd be an awesome gift.

I hope it can take notes and record calendar events/reminders well; that, along with texting (and calling people >_>), is largely what I use my LX for. And photos sometimes, too.

Maybe I'll end up getting an out of date when I walk out of the store iPhone. My balls aren't big enough to spend the money on a G1 without knowing for sure if it will work unlocked. Even if I can unlock it for that matter.

My sister got two of these on Monday by accident.

She was going to upgrade her phone and ordered it. Then found out how much it costs.. so she decided to cancel it. And she got two..

She called T-Mobile.. They were like.. You'll get it on Thursday. Just send it back. She was like.. I have two of them.. now. T-Mobile were just like wtf? How?

Now she's going to try to sell them.

Do you know how much it is after you're able to upgrade? As of now I can't upgrade so it would cost me $349 -_-. I'm debating waiting or just saving up and picking it up late November.

I went in too the T-mobile store today too check it out looks kinda cool. Wanted too buy one but they wanted like 368$ for it. I've got 10 months till I can get a new phone for that gigantic 179 dollar price tag they have advertised every where. Is it worth the pick up yet?
