I thought the whole "unicorn color pallet" D3 joke was old? Blizzard even poked fun at it themselves at Blizzcon. /shrug

D3 plays great; the sound alone is bad ass. I think the environment is really easy to get engrossed and and gameplay is really fun.

I just say Meh to this. As long as the PC version is primary, and isn't dumbed down for consoles it'll be ok.
I don't know how/if Bnet will work with XBOX because microsoft is so stingy on developer software. We'll see though i'm sure i'll work good on PS3, Xbox i really don't know

not like it couldn't be played with a keyboard and mouse on consoles anyway. I'd love to see it on PS3 because that way I won't have to upgrade my laptop just to play a game lol

really looking forward to D3. but it really feels as if they over-prehyped with the videos some 3 years ago. the development wait really does put some of us off..

not really impressed with male demon hunter either. the way they described him in relation to the female one at first, you'f think he'd look like adam lambert or something.. and somehow I think that might have worked lol..

I hope something similar to trap-ass comes back to D3. that was my fave to play

That was also an expansion some time later and we know that D3 is going to see 2+ expansions with the release slate that was leaked sometime last year.

I think they will give us 2+ classes per expansion so I am thinking they will eventually bring back all the D2 classes since barbarian is still around and wizard is basically sorc.

I feel that if Demon Hunter doesn't have traps an expansion class will.

he May Conference call is now over. While most of the call was not about D3, we did get some important information. Most importantly, the Diablo III external beta testing is expected to begin in Q3 of this year; that is July 1st - September 30th. Also with this, Mike Morhaime said that they are still pushing to get Diablo III out this year. Of course, with Blizzard, no dates are set in stone. If anything goes wrong or extremely well, these dates can change. However, considering this is the most current news about the beta and the time frame given is very soon, it is more than likely we will be seeing beta start in a few months. From there, it all depends on how well beta goes for the release date of the actual game. Along with this news, we learned that they have begun internal testing last week. This means that most if not all systems are in the game and running. Along with this, we have been promised to get information about all remaining systems before beta so expect a lot of Diablo III updates very soon.

Excellent news, a good friend of mine w/Blizzard connections has promised me D3 beta keys :D

As for release date/time; come on, it's Blizzard. Nuff Said.

This reminds me. at blizszcon they said they were giving away 5k(?) beta keys to ticket holders. did they ever give those out or haven't yet? MAYBE I STILL HAVE A CHANCE

At this rate it was a brilliant marketing strategy because the average blizzcon attendee will be too old to actually care about or use their beta key by the time D3 is ready to test.

should just be your battle.net account. Under your account there is an option to sign up for future beta tests: for select games or for all games

So this game is basically like Gauntlet Legends, but better. Right? IDK which came out first, but I have been waiting on a new/good gauntlet for a while. This game looks pretty fun.
