Eh, kind of excited for this, but at the same time the PvP aspect definitely isn't going to trump how Diablo 2 handled it. Diablo 2 will always be the king of PvP, "PKing", whatever you want to call it, in my book.

Honestly, I think Blizzard will have to or the game just wont compare... or at least in my eyes. When I first got the game, I played it for the game itself. But after beating it a time or 2 (which didnt take THAT long), it was the PvP that kept me playing... well, that and getting the best gear to be the best at PvP! Without PvP, I dont see a point in getting the best gear... (Though... FFXI I didnt PvP yet wanted the best... hmmm....)

Also, I havn't booted up D2 in years, but the changes from I read the last patch, I really hope they keep in D3. Hated when a patch would come out and completely screw your current build over and only option was make the character again and grind the levels...

D3 is designed such that you will hit max level just beating the game on hell difficutly. So shouldn't be any level grinding like in D2 (although of course there will be gear grinding).

Also, not sure why everyone seems to want all the old classes back. I'd much rather have new / fresh classes the re-skined oldies.

The thing is, the new D3 classes just each look to me like hybrids of two old D2 classes. Kinda' like FFXIV.

You don't even have to restart a character on D2 anymore. They introduced "tokens". Basically, you make/trade for a token, use it, and it resets your characters skills and stat points but keeps your current level. Very awesome.

Would be great if they took some of the best things in D2 and threw them into D3, but I just don't see these two comparing PvP wise. Game is 11? years old and I still PvP on it, along with hundreds of others just on US East NL.

I'd go back and play this game if there was a way to fix the resolution. This game takes up like 1/10th of my HDTV.

20 skeletal warriors, 20 skeletal mages, flame golem, 3(?) revived enemies. I'd run around the game like that on my old computer until it chugged so much the computer would die. It was glorious.

Didn't work for me.... looking into using some kind of glide wrapper now.

-w -nofixaspect works.... not perfect but good enough for my short term purposes.
