Just beat Act III Nightmare.....more fucking blues. Who's dick do I have to suck to get a fucking rare or better? I'm not sure why Blizz has such a low droprate on shit on harder difficulties....

Are you running with any MF gear? I've been running with ~100% and I typically get several rares on the way to a boss, and usually at least one on the bosses.

Random is random, but it can't hurt.

Is there any reason at all to Dual Wield? I'm playing Demon Hunter... I find Bow/Hand/Crossbow+Quiver is generally better than 2x Handcrossbow, Can't really find a benefit to Dual Wield except maybe if the bonus offhand Gun's stats are better than my Quivers?

I don't appear to attack any faster, and Quivers even give 10% faster attack speed...

AFAIK it is only for stats. Quiver was put in so they didn't have to make 2-handers on par with the stats of 2-1handers combined. That and it allows for a little more flexability. I say just go with the best stuff you find, if it be 2x one handers or a 1/2hander with a quiver.

Also anyone here able to help me with belial in hell? It's rough as a solo DH or without a tank for that matter. I do fine until I run out of disc from dodging so much and then I die

Dual wielding on barb is 5% attack speed increase iirc. I assume DH would have the same. Only reason to do it is if you found an offhand with better stats than a quiver, or you want to alternate attacks for some reason.

I have the opposite problem as people bitching about blues. I get yellows ALL the fucking time no matter what I'm doing or how much MF I have. This would be good news if any of the yellows that drop for me were ANY good at all, but they never are, so it really doesn't matter.

I often get blues as quickly as normal weapons and I seem to get rares more in a heavy MF build, so I guess that essentially you should have a farming set of gear. It's like a thief knife that matters.

Rares seem to pop up much more frequently for me when i'm in a group. Don't know if it's coincidence or just how it's supposed to be.

Coincidence, barb is full of yellow that has dropped for my WD solo and WD is full of nada because nothing useful drops solo or barb grouped.

I'm running about ~20% magic item finder and regularly get blues now. And one run to a boss I usually get 5-10 rares. Then again I explore every inch of an area before proceeding. I just finished normal, and it took me about 50hours lol.

Haha yeah I just got rolled by Belial in Hell; first time I've died to an act boss or semi-boss other than Izual in NM when I got frozen at a poor time. I just spent like 200k in AH upgrades, but will wait for my duo buddy (Barb as well) to get back to try again. My gear isn't really bad, but shit, some Champion packs are impossible and there were several fights that took close to 10 minutes and had me riding on a few pixels of health for many portions of it. Ran into a Molten + Extra Fast + Vampiric small spider pack along with a Extra Health + Teleport + something else unique large spider that seriously took me 20 minutes to kill. Probably used Revenge for full heal like 400 times.

LV 56 currently, had to switch to 1H and Shield in Act II. Gear is pretty decent imo, but it's tough as hell on Barb.

All resistances hover between 12-20% (nominal stats of like 30-70)

Really? I'm having no trouble at all with Act III in NM. I am geared with good shit though and not a bunch of MF.
