Last night I farmed the elite from Act I before the Drowned Temple, where you retrieve the 2 beacons from the crypts, on Inferno.

There is one tomb where it's a short narrow tunnel with a single elite at the end. Once you come inside you get a checkpoint, proceed to kill the pack, get loot, tele out, log off.

When you resume the game you'll be back at the start of the cave. I did this last night for about 2 hours, got a few decent drops (ring and some hands) but if the elite had the wrong buffs it was sometimes a tedious process (both in time and repairs).

Load into any quest beyond the first. Take the wp to The Old Ruins. Run directly southwest. Just past Griswold's there will be a dungeon about 50% of the time (if it's not back tele to town and leave game). Inside the dungeon, there will be a few zombies and possibly a treasure goblin and possibly a chest.

If the goblin is up, kill all the zombies, then equip full MF gear and kill.

Just past Griswold's there will be a dungeon about 50% of the time (if it's not back tele to town and leave game). Inside the dungeon, there will be a few zombies and possibly a treasure goblin and possibly a chest.

If the goblin is up, kill all the zombies, then equip full MF gear and kill.

Tried this for maybe 45 minutes. No gobbos. Maybe patched out today.

So far, I get Zombies + chest, Rare mob with minions, or just zombies (no chest).

Edit: found one, but took a while... I notice that Kungen has a crew looking for Gob, so they all jump in with MF.

Does that treasure goblin drop anything worthwhile on Act 1? I did it a few times and got nothing of value really. Hate when that fucker runs near the door too and if you're like me and your primary attack is left click you might run outside if it moves, gets me all freaked out.

Does anyone wanna try running a 2+ man treasure gob finding run in Act 1? Doing it alone is fine but I'm sure it's much more lucrative for many more people with more than 1 person searching for the gob over and over.

Click once and hoooold. You'll be able to move your mouse around all you like and you'll still attack the target you clicked on.
