Staying true to mighty barbarian mysterious: I got a bul kathos tribal guardian off the butcher just now. ~500 dps total, randomed a socket so it's not horrible. The last 3 legendaries I found were all weapons. Why? D:

Is A1 butcher farming worth it as barb? I have 40k HP and about 26-27k damage but A2 mobs are pretty difficult. I totally roll through A1 though, even 95% of champ packs.

Im only grinding A1 until 1.0.3 cause I still cant handle 80% of the elites in A2. According to various barb's I should have the gear for it, so I guess I just suck playing it lol
You'll get a gear-upgrade maybe once every 3 days, but you get decent money selling lewt to npc. Im usually getting around 700k per day messing around

edit: Im not doing butcher that often, Ive moved over to just running around all over the place where theres alot of packs (cemetary, caves etc.)

A big part of act II farming for me is to kill packs asap. You can't just build a tank and sit there fighting them for 5 minutes. Their damage is so high atm that even with millions put into a tank build you are going to be hard pressed surviving that. Damage is a big part of surviving, the faster you get the down the less you have to deal with them. If I don't get some or all of a pack down within the duration of Wrath the fight usually becomes a leap in and attack for a few seconds while Armor is buffed then run out, and repeat. You have to dodge beams, get out of pools of poison and desecrator asap.

Right now I run a build with 37.7k dps, 9.1k armor, 47.7k hp, 500-600 resists, 2043hp regen per second and 48% crit rate. I use whirlwind with bloodfunnel to heal a lot as well in addition to the hp regen and revenge. There is also just the fact that Inferno takes a lot of skill and practice to play on Barb, at least past Act I. I didn't roll in and start owning shit I had to ramp up my game a lot and learn to handle every affix. A couple weeks ago I was in the same boat getting my ass handed to me in Act II even though I had like 1k resists. Resists can't take you alll the way.

I'm also a barb, but I got total welfare shit gear. I stick with A1 since that's all I can handle. Get my 5 stack on at the cemetery then head to Leoric's Manor WP and clear absolutely everything till the end of the act (butcher included).

Since act 1 is so easy to faceroll I decided to just start building up my mf gear instead of bothering with act 2. I've got 119% right now, and still plenty of room for upgrades lol.

I'm on the barb train too. I can pretty much faceroll Act 2. But Act 3 is soo much harder, that I can't farm any of it.

well, I noticed that I can do the gob-farming at 2-8 with ease now, so thats always something lol
and like dead Im mostly doing act1 with MF-gear on.

Yep, everyone is. Servers gonna crash soon probably or they'll take 'em down. Huge gold duping issues and item duping.. just a ton of shit going on right now. If you bid on anything in the AH, you could possibly lose the gold forever too. So.. I wouldn't do that either. Honestly, I wouldn't do anything in game atm

I imagine it has to do with the clock thing... Which is hilarious. Worst coding ever or worst coding ever? Honestly, who thought that would be a good idea?

Luckily I didn't play today so I'm not worried about rollbacks.
