these guys are behind some of the worst game design decisions i have ever seen.
btw, anyone know yet if you can re-roll your hellfire ring?

just gather up another batch of mats
As much as I don't want my WW barb to get hit with a nerf, I can't wait for the awesome changes of 1.0.5 >_>; I think I can live with out the OP tornados.
honestly, the patch is more of a buff for me than a nerf. probably not the same for everyone because i feel like my gear is better than average, but i feel like i'm at less risk of death at MP5 than in 1.04 because of two things:
A. shit like molten/desecrator seems easier to deal with than in 1.04 and B. fallen maniacs don't insta-boom anymore.
I think Monk will be the worst class in 1.05.
DH/Barb
WD
Wiz
Monk.
DH is getting some really awesome changes, they probably will be no.1 after the patch.
Monk isn't nearly as good as barb in melee vs melee plus they share gear with DH which is going to continue to skyrocket because DH got a whole lot better in the patch.
You missed where Vault will break now
and Shadow Power is extended in duration, so yeah it's lower in magnitude
When is this patch actually set to be implemented into the game? Or is it just 'when it's ready'?
Not sure how much random shit they have to do with it already being up on the PTR. If not this Tuesday, I'd say next. I know I want it sooner than later since I have no motivation to paragon level/farm knowing 1.05 will be so much better for loot chances. Actually been taking other classes to 60 over the past couple days. Just A3/4 Hell on WD to finish all to 60, and while I've been critical of the class' early game, it gets stupid OP once you get Acid Rain. 24 yard AoE on demand with no waiting on projectiles or shit blocking it? Shit melts, literally, and it kinda frustrates me knowing a lot of DH's skills simply can't come close mechanically.
I agree, WD is very fun esp with Acid Rain. Which rune do you use on it? I've been playing around with them but can't really seem to decide what's #1.
I gave up on DH long ago, either I suck at playing the class or it's just not very good, can't decide which. Mainly because in my mind it doesn't have many strong basic skills and the advanced ones just aren't that appealing to me.
The one that ups the AoE radius. Others might be situationally better, but it's hard to go wrong hitting 15+ mobs in a single ability. Poison Darts with the 3 shot rune has been my straggler/ST ability. I've been pondering a build blowing up dogs come 60, but that'd need better INT gear with at least pick up radius first. For now, my only real threat in Hell has been mobs with reflect because I haven't bothered to up my VIT much, and those are only problematic if they're the mob types with high HP by default.
Anyway, I rambled on DH's ills before, and while some people can make it work with uber gear, getting there is still a pain. 1.04 or even 1.05 don't really address why a lot of their skills lack appeal. Like with Bola Shot, if you kill a mob with an unexploded Bola on it, it won't explode, basically wasting a shot. I outright dislike the delay aspect to it in general, but that's just insult on top. So, comparing it to WD's AR, not only does WD get higher radius potential, but stray mobs can't intercept your true target, nor do you have to wait for the boom. Comparatively, setting mines or traps involves making the mobs come to you in most cases, which can mean slower clears compared to someone just running and gunning. I want to like Multishot, but its range is deceptively shorter than its actual animation, nevermind sometimes it fires in the wrong direction if you have to turn to take the shot. But that's just scratching the surface. People have been saying good things about the 1.05 Boar pet, but I'm kinda iffy on veering the class toward "needing" a pet.
So.. >_>; Kinda late to the party here, just got to Act 3 Inferno on my Barb and noticed that well.. even through act 2 this was apparent, 20k HP doesn't seem to be enough and I have a very difficult time making gold, I'm lucky to scrape up 200k by the end of the day so buying things off the auction house is kinda difficult for me considering anything that I could purchase as an upgrade seems to be in the 800k - 1mil marker area.
Anyone got some suggestions on how to make improvements?

Attempting to farm either A1 or A2 usually lands me in the red when it comes to repairs when it's all said and done ._.;
You're not alone on the gold problem, as real money basically comes from getting that lotto drop or being one of those assholes who camps/bots the AH for the occasional underpriced item to resell. At a glance, I assume you're trying to run whirlwind whatever the fuck flavor of the month build. Bluntly, your weapons suck. Kinda have the right idea with LoH and bumping crit damage, but getting something 900+ DPS will probably be more productive. Using a shield until you're better off may also be wiser. I'd suggest sticking to A1, too, as while the drops aren't as potentially good, the act's just that much easier than A2, let alone A3.
Then just wait for 1.05. I don't think it can be reiterated enough how beneficial chopping drops under ilvl58 from the Inferno pool on top of making possible mods based on mlvl instead of ilvl. You'll still be fighting with the RNG, but every rare will be worth picking up to at least ID.
1-second identify, too!
your stuff is pretty bad. not that it's necessarily your fault but in this game you are at the mercy of your drops. add me and i'll give you some things which should help

Btw, LOL at exploding palm on MP10.
