Elite mobs with with 21 million HP would deal 6.3 million AoE damage when they die while bleeding. o.o;
Gogo Impending Doom Rune.
I'm sure i'm missing something, but is Movement Speed bugged or something? I've only just really paid attention to it and when my weapon is drawn i run at normal speed? Anyone else have this issue? As my weapon is drawn 99% of the time unless i'm in town wtf is the point in spending extra on movement speed items? Unless I am actually moving faster but the animation doesn't show it?

Teach me how to barb. I fucking die every 3 seconds in Act 2 Inf
No pro, but swap the ruby in your off-hand with a higher amethyst and shoot for more All Res in your slots, especially those that don't have it. Also suspecting you lack the crit rate needed to really make that build shine. But in general, you're undergeared for A2. My gimpy Monk has double your resists along with more LoH, and while most fodder mobs aren't an issue, elites still eat her.
I'm having a hard time wanting to play with 1.05 pending. The loot changes are just so much of a "why bother putting up with this shit?!" that it's sad we still don't have a release date.
Your crit chance is extremely low. For ww barbs, you really need a mixture of loh/crit% to upkeep fury and heal yourself. For now, try to invest in some crit% amulet/rings. 8-10% for gloves, 8-8.5% for amulet, 4-4.5% for rings depending on budget. With weapons mastery, you should try to get an axe or mace for mainhand to make use of the 10% crit chance from that passive.
For offhand, the base damage isn't too important (but nice if you can afford it), so can find a cheap loh/crit dmg/socket offhand (anything wearable is ok). For example, I'm seeing something for 10k on AH with 130 STR, 530 loh, 57% crit dmg along with socket.
Other places you can get loh would be amulet/rings. Try to aim for 750+ loh until you get better geared. Or just use amethyst in your weapon socket for now if need be and upgrade as time goes on.
Next would be to balance STR/VIT/all res with your other gear. Try to aim for ~400 base all resist pre-warcry for act 2, or mix of all res/phys resist.
Last would be your follower. While templar is nice, once you get the hang of ww barb and can keep your health sustained via farted whirlwinds, you should switch to enchantress just due to her armor passive; 15% bonus to your armor is pretty nice.
Thanks! I'll see what I can pick up on the cheap for now and build up.
I lol'd.
Pretty much.![]()
That's how I'm feeling about my Wiz currently, even before 1.0.5. Witch Doctor is awesome. Been leveling it slowly because D3 is so repetitive at this point that I get bored quickly.
Hmm gonna regear my WD and finally finish inferno then XD
guysssss but Slow Time will be improved
Just tried monster level 3 on PTR as ww barb and its hard to upkeep wotb now. Also, arcane/molten/plague while manageable in 1.04 just seems a tad harder to do on 1.05.

if any other ww barb wanna critique. Kinda avoiding buying any jewelry since they are gonna be better after patch than any current ones.
24yd Acid Cloud is one of the most fun clicks in the game, yeh
patch day! i am excite
as me too
Count me in, MP6 looks to be my comfortable farming setting, although getting the keys on MP10 wasn't too difficult. Fighting the infernal bosses on MP10 was near impossible though, grats if you can pull that off.
I'll probably be stuck around MP3 or so, myself. Not that I really mind a 30% chance on keys. Tried sniping some auctions before AH went down to update my gear a bit, but won't know if I actually won stuff until servers are back up.
