    I think in some ways it's okay, others not so much. Stuff like being able to roll STR/DEX/INT as the primary lets an item work for multiple classes, and given the usual focus on primary stat, VIT, All Resist, then crit stuff, that basically saves Blizz from having to make 3 different types of armor that'd basically be the same. On the other hand, it is lazy and kinda limits flavor mods. Weapons probably suffer worst for the damage reason, as I personally found an 850ish Manticore when people only want the 1200+ range with dual sockets. :/

    I've sold one legendary so far in my 23 levels of paragon. (and can't sell decent rares!)
    I've been finding about 1 or so every other run since I built a mf kit to get to 300-ish%. I just throw them in my bank as trophies. Once I fill a tab, I'm gonna give em away to anyone who wants em.

    Found a Tal Rasha's chest Friday. It rolled mediocre stats but whatevs. I'm using it regardless as it's better than the rare I had. Saved me a couple mil anyhow. So I've found two useful things

    Went back to playing my wizard. I'm at 116k dps on an archon build. WD is alright, but kind of tired of it right now. Archon is godly when the mobs support it refreshing.

    After dinging P100, I can safely agree with lordender regarding legendary's (and in general, the randomly generated affixes for everything) really makes item hunting for upgrades really a PITA. My 209 brimstone in my chest can attest to the amount of stupidly low quality legendaries I've come across. The difference between a good manticore, a great manticore, and an undisputed manticore is ridiculous; and good manticores will probably go for 5M, a great one for 25M, and the godly one will never be in your reach unless you fork over some major $$$. And this is all due to the exceptionally huge variance on DMG affixes alone as arus pointed out.

    The only true upgrades I've come across are my shoulders, pants, right ring, IK belt, and my lacuni prowler (ARMORY) and I can't say they are top of the line by any means.

    Don't think I have ever found upgrades in regards to my mainhand either; been using a 1k DPS slayer purchased from AH until I recently found a 7M axe that I'm using at the moment. Going from P75 (when I bought that slayer) to P91 (when I bought the 7M axe) with no upgrade in between? Saddening.

    And seeing any resist aside from a 70+ AR on any legendary armor? /cry

    Rant aside, I really love this game; put in quite the number of hours since launch and am eager to see what else they add in regards to co-op in the future. Hellfire ring farming is a decent dessert for most, but the playerbase is hungry for more goodies. I can only see things improving from here on (maybe except the affix system).

    There is just too many Legendary's that have ZERO chance at being good, like Frostburns, Ivory Tower, Dawn, Balefire Caster. What Blizzard needs to do is straight up allow blacksmith to socket items, make it function like the D2 Lazurk quest through a rare pattern. This fixes "no socket = worthless" more items suddenly become attractive to sell or use as upgrades.

    Next, they need to just go back to % damage on weapons, up base damages to make up for removing elemental damage, min/max and have enhanced damage % pop way more higher on items. This eliminates needing % weapon dmg, +min/max or elemental damage to all pop to get a high DPS roll. In D2, 150-200% enhanced damage on weapons worked fine, there was no reason to change it to this really bad system.

    Class specific items need to only roll that classes primaries, str should never pop on a quiver, int should never pop on a spirit stone etc.

    All resist needs to have a cap, damage needs to be based around the new cap.

    Several legendary's need to be redesigned to give us alternative game play, where is the items that changes us to like a werewolf that gave us unique abilities etc?

    I never had problems with my pets reflecting damage. I'm interested in the Monk spenders, but they need to fix spirit gain more.

    No plans to curb AH flipping. No real interest since the economy is basically what held me back from acquiring better gear. Kinda sad having dumped over 500 hours into the game only to never see a thing worth more than 30m. Most things I find would probably be lucky to sell for 50k.

    Still won't be playing until they work on itemization. No wiggle room to miss any critical stat on gear, no being able to socket items, no real problems of my concern being addressed by 1.07. I thought hellfire rings were awful, boring, at least in D2, the hellfire torches were great at max level even if you got a low end one.

    They went ahead and incentivized MP10 which they said they wouldn't do with the new craft items dropping 80+% which means only barbs, wiz will be able to do it efficiently. Even with the new craft recipes, it still misses the point if that gear misses 1 thing, it is useless. Legendary items, 95% are still bad due to the insane randomness on them.

    Skills are still boring.

    New Gems look awful when you compare the price to make them.

    New Ruby gives 150min/max dmg.

    Costs 5million gold to unsocket an item with the new gem in it.

    The first set of digits were struck through on the diablofans site and the formatting did not carry over, so for Stark Winter it is 510%, not 210510%
