General

Public Games are once again available to players. To help us test this automated matchmaking feature, click on "Campaign" and then select "Public Games."
The number of characters playing the selected public quest will now display in the Public Games menu.
The Diablo III Auction House is coming soon (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/services/auction-house/)! During the beta launch of this system, the following features will be enabled:Gold-based equipment exchange
Bid, auto-bid, and buyout functionality
Slot-based search filters
Toast notifications to track auction progress
The ability to put items up for auction directly from the shared stash

Hyped as fuck too, but getting some razors out just in case I need to /wrist.

I have almost 300 posts on the new D3 forums. I pretty much refresh the site a billion times a day in my spare time at work. Like a god damn coke addict or something. :/

I doubt posts or forum activity will affect beta chances. That's not how blizz does stuff

Any word on a possible crack for this? I know there was one that let you play the computer for SC2 but I was wondering if we could get the same thing for those who might not get a beta invite. I am liking the demon hunter the most after playing with all the skills.

SC2 had offline capabilities. D3 is always connected. Most likely not going to be any cracks.

There IS a beta "crack", but all it lets you do at this time is "log in", create a character, then run them around in an empty sandbox world. Doors don't work, there's no mobs, no NPC's, nothing but you. There's also no skills, so it's essentially good for exactly nothing but seeing how the game runs on your machine.

not even that. If you cant do anything then you cant stress test it on your comp since there is nothing pushing the game's specs

There isn't a crack persey- but a sandbox is being built. I'll post more on it once it's closer to being done, I think they just got the world to be stable.

There won't be a crack anytime soon, I'm guessing that a lot of core functionality (high-level ai, for one) to the game is server-only.
