While I haven't really been wowed by anything, it's solid enough to have the potential to keep my interest with the full version.

My main concern in playing is the occasional hang, seemingly inspired by changing environments. Tomb Guardians also seem to lag me to fuck for no reason and contributed to the only time I died.

It's suprisingly hard on a pc. My old computer would freeze completely when 10+ mobs were on the screen. canyourunit.com has a check to see if your computer can handle it now, I HIGHLY recommend making sure you can.

Looking at the bug forum, seems like an issue related to my complaint is present in that resources loaded for the first time seem to lag abnormally. I know when I first started the game, it was choppy as fuck and I actually lowered my settings thinking it would help. Though, looking at the specs, I'm rather well above most of the minimum reqs.

I'm playing the beta, I love what I see for the most part, the new team really did their homework especially with the lore and all but the only gripe I have is the whole tristam theme this time around is a little too "stratholm'ish" compared to each iteration in the past. I'm playing a Demon Hunter and I love the fact you don't have to buy fucking arrows or bolts anymore, thank fucking god.

Yeah, arrows/bolts were always fucking awkward and typically a penalty to 'zons when it came to keeping room for shit.

Lag issues aside, my biggest complaint at the moment is the restriction to active abilities. Sure, it'll be a bit better later in the game, but leveling up isn't quite as fun when you're still using the same shit you started with. I'm not sure if runes or whatever drop in the beta, either. That might help with the bleh, but playing DH myself, it's mainly been guided arrow spam with rapid fire if and only if I'm getting bumrushed by 5+ enemies.

Most of my friends and I got invited yesterday, with the amount of beta invitations going out I can only imagine they are doing some type of stress test and intend to release it soon, at least I hope they are...

Well keep in mind it takes approximately 30 days from end of beta for manufacturing and distribution for a game to go on sale. So honestly I'd say end of march middle of april is going to be the earliest.

Do you really think the release is so imminent after they've recently reworked the entire attribute system from the ground up? =/ I mean...it seems unlikely to me, and this game is so hyped up I wouldn't expect it until at least June, though I suspect it might be around Christmas.

Won't be that late; beta would be pointless if we are still 10 months out from release. Apr-May I'm guessing now.

Yesterday's invite count was 100,000 (and was NA only). That's stress-test calibre. Also, they didn't rework the entire stats system, they just renamed them and made it so a class's primary stat increases their damage, not the generic "Attack" stat from before. It's not that much reworking to do. I'm thinking April, May at this point.

Cannot get mine to work. Launcher said it was 100% done, clicked play, the splash page comes up, then black screen with the loading cursor. Eventually the program stops responding. Now whenever I click the launcher or game exe it goes straight to the splash page and then black screen. Tried changing all the window resolutions to my normal resolution, tried changing it to windowed mode, tried changing the refresh rate. Nothing is working. Still waiting on replies on the forum, but any of you have any ideas?
