Meh, I've been sitting on the gold cross for nearly 5 months now, all it really does is let you keep your weapons for good. Really, they should have just given you more perks per prestige to play with in your standard 3 builds. All I have for now is the gold Dragonov/AK, working on the Mini Uzi atm.

Plus most weapons would look crap in gold. Golden G36C? Ewwwww...

Interesting stuff so far, really looking forward to this, if only just for a break from the same maps on CoD4. The prospect of more open maps as Tekki says sounds awesome.

having more of a blast with my own account now. I think part of the audio/visual disappointment I saw in a few things was b/c of my roomates audio/visual setup. I play on a monitor w/ wireless headphones, so I am now simply loving this game. Really is a blast in a new way. Finding the same excitement I had when I was betaing COD4.

Btw I dare someone to get in a tank if I'm on your map.

As long as they don't make flyable planes it wont be too over powered. That was one thing I hated about Halo, anyone in the covenant flyer was practically invincible if they knew how to roll out of oncoming missiles.

I'm guessing it's all our favorite guns from CoD2? PPSH machine gun and the Mosin Nagant? Or are there other axis weapons that weren't on the European front?

So now roundhouse isnt even remotely fun anymore. Crazy glitch where you can get underground under the bricks. You can fire up, and they can't see you below. COD4 was plagued with this sort of terrain glitching before on mostly boxes, walls and other terrain.

- Raise the level cap to 24 (new weapons, perks, and challenges)
- Introduce some Hardcore playlists
- Add a Search & Destroy playlist

As I mentioned in an earlier sticky, we have collected your feedback and are aware of some anomalies with the BETA. That feedback has been invaluable, and keep it coming. You may not see all the bug fixes tomorrow, but let it be known we're working tirelessly to make sure all the problems are fixed for release.

I just downloaded the CoD: WaW beta for the Pc. I did everything it told me to but when I go to start it I get this message. "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_37dll was not found. Re-installing application may fix this problem." I'm not sure what to do. Did I do something wrong and should I try to re-install or what?

Getting this game in early, Monday around 7pm. Doing a "same day" pickup where we cut shipping time by getting it ourselves.

Apparently PSM rated this higher then COD4...

Getting pretty excited to play this, not just for the multi player.

So I got 2 different emails for xbox360 versions code for the m1a1 gun or whatever, problem is I only ordered 1 360 version online, and I ordered 1 pc version (at the store).

Some kinda mistake maybe? I'm hoping that when I pick up the pc version in the store, i get a different code for it and it's not by email.

A lot of locations are doing whats call a "same day" pickup. We skip the middle man and pick it up ourselves. I know I'll have mine by 7-8pm at my store. Our preorders has surpassed Gears of War 2 from its prime preorder count.

Eh, I purchased Gears of War 2 for the Solo/Co-Op personally. The multiplayer on Gears never seemed up to the standard of COD or SOCOM, so I didn't like it too much. I don't know what to think about COD:World at War, I've played the Beta a lot and it's 'fun' but I'd like to see reactions when the game comes out before I end up making a commitment. I'm also glad they finally gave a reason to prestige. >_>;
