Didn't you play Skies of Arcadia? But I think potentials are random, Vyse had some great ones for me iirc, though I rarely used any Shocktroopers aside from sticking Rosie on the map for one CP. I'd love to see a Shocktrooper with Ult. Aim though if they are random. My sniper with Ult. Aim's aiming circle is quite literally a dot now, can hit anything from across the map with ease.

Yeah, Marina gets ultimate aim and ever since she's been owning the maps. Only downside is still crappy AP.

I liked using all the classes except engineer, most had some really nice traits that helped a lot. When you get lancers with B aim weapons and Ult. Anti Armor you can start fucking some tanks up big time. The one time lancers really annoy me is chapter 9 or 7, with the tank. Missing there is fucking annoying.

Excellent, I loved playing VC so I'm glad to hear that there's some DLC that I'm actually interested in. It seems like the DLC is substantial enough to warrent purchasing anyway, very excited for this.

Lancers are fail, sometimes I find myself cursing @ the tv. I mean if they land the hit they cause major damage, that's a big IF.

Damn, seriously. I've missed POINT FUCKING BLANK a few times.

Once you upgrade lancers to max level, you get some really awesome skills/perks that really increase accuracy and damage. One of the lancers (I forget her name) and Largo are incredibly powerful at level 20.

Up until you get accuracy boost, Lancers are very annoying, just like how Snipers can't hit shit for a long time until you get the right skills (like ultimate accuracy). Upgrade them, and you'll be happy as shit.

Too bad Jann doesn't give you an extra command point otherwise I'd use him over Largo for times when only one lancer is necessary.

Finished this game about a month ago, and it pretty much justified my PS3 for me (haven't played any other games yet, so don't jump on me for not mentioning any others). It's a damn shame that we probably won't get any more games like it any time soon, since it wasn't wildly successful.

Excited about the DLC, though.

So I rented this today and I have to say that I'm really impressed with the entire package of this game. The graphics and art direction is beautiful, and I love the battle system; really brings me back to playing squad tactical games years ago.

The english voice acting has grown on me, and I love the characters and all their idiosyncrasies. Jann is probably my favourite to have on my team for a laugh, who can't love a flamingly gay Lancer who loves to get in behind tanks and plant his flag. (Not to mention I swear he's voiced by the same actor who voiced the flamingly gay guy(s) on Futurama.)
