LOL, that's hilarious because for some people that really would be considered a daunting task.

I've tanked without visible swaps before, but I'm just anal-retentive enough to prefer to min/max as much as I can. Merona made some very good points, and I don't doubt that you can be an incredible tank without blinking around all the time, but if I can eek out a little more Enmity, or a little more Shield Skill, etc, without blinking being a problem for my support, I don't see the reason not to.
