I asked a few female friends and most of them said that this is a possibility. They say that if she really wasn't interested, then she probably wouldn't have given me her phone number (and when I asked if it was okay for me to call her and we could go out to dinner sometime she did nod her head in agreement).
But then when I ask my male friends, they usually say they've gotten similar responses before and it meant "no".
And then when I asked the witch doctor he just said "Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang"
I'll just talk to her again and figure out for sure which of these are correct.
Edit: Note to self. My sense of humor sucks. Please hide this fact for at least the first few dates.
Game recognizes game, go with what the females said.
Guys>> lol did you hit it yet?
You>> No, I've only known her 15 mins.
Guys>> lol she's not interested dawg, move on.
You>> wut?
Never take dating advice from another single guy lol. I think you're fine, don't underestimate her honesty, especially seeing as how you guys know each other.
where the hell did that come from lmao
HAHA
It's no harm in asking, and you need to be confident when you ask her as if rejection is of no issue. If she says she has "schedule conflicts" a couple more times, you can then promptly take the hint. Also, maybe it would help to remember some interesting things to say regarding some of the current issues. lastly, sincerity helps, alot. Relax and have fun!
become good friends with her at first you know go out have fun etc...then try to get some alone time with her and then![]()
that's some shit advice
yeah seems kinda direct and simple at first but hey it worked for me >_>b
I'll dump my 2 cents in, take them for what they're worth.
I had 2 dates, I'm not dating either anymore, different reasons at different points in the relationships.
First date:
Location: Movie (Master and Commander) / Dinner
Dressed: Was winter so casual, jeans, coat, no different than I did in school.
Result: We got to know eachother. She was a sweet girl and we got there early so we had time to talk. I bought her popcorn/soda which was the usual theater rape price. After wards we went out to a diner, nothing fancy, just a place that served some delicious shit.
We dated 3 times after that until I decided she wouldn't be the type for me, considering I was looking for a serious relationship and we were dramatic opposites, therefore conversations outside of chit-chat would turn ugly. (AKA: She was very religious, following the bible to the word, where as I had recently left the church we went to since we were 5, so once she found I defected she'd either spend dates trying to bring me back, or dislike me.)
My other date:
Location: Diner
Dressed: Casual, nothing fancy.
Odd thing was she asked me out, so I spent more time thinking what interest she wanted VS how much cash should I bring, as I was considering fighting for the bill.
Oddly she wanted to pick me up, the date turned into a cross-date as she invited me out to go with her but, surprise, she had a friend just happen to 'appear' like 15 mins late who she wanted to pair with me. The cross-date chick wasn't bad looking, but she had been, well, odd to me since we met like 2 years before.
Date was a bust, as I had interest in the main date as opposed to the surprise one.
Only advice, be yourself. If you need to fake personality or likes/dislikes you're going to slip up and that'll ruin things. If she's into you, she'll like who you are. If not, you're not getting into her pants anyways on a first date, so be happy you took your shot and don't have to stare at the ceiling at night and ask "what if..."
My rule of date is if she turns me down for inane reasons twice within a month span (example, I ask early in and again late) and both reasons are...well, silly sounding, I wont ask again. If she had legit things she might hint you to ask her out at a later time. If they usaully say something silly they're trying to make something sincere sounding on the spot so she wont hurt you.
Also always ask her friends before hand if she's seeing anyone. Nothing sucks asking a girl out, finding she has a boy friend and he finds out. There's plenty of jealous assholes out there who'd try bullying you if they think that's what the girl wants.
Chicks + Jerks = WTF
"Oh ummm...." Doesn't really mean anything.
As a matter of fact, I've found that anything a girl says doesn't really mean anything. Words don't matter, actions do. If you keep being nice to her and making yourself available to help her/hang out with her, eventually she'll wanna hang out, usually regardless of what she initially thought of you. If you really like her, stay persistent (which doesn't mean overbearing or creepy).
To me her "Oh...um" sounds like she is definitely leaving her options open, but her busy schedule was the first thing on her mind. If she wasn't interested, I think she would have flat out said no.
She possibly is trying to reject you before you get close, as to not hurt you when she has no time for you due to her busy life, if you know what I am trying to say. I know a few people who are like this, instead of enjoying themselves, they never want to be hurt (again) so they'll shut off.
Once again, the fact she didn't actually say no, is a good sign. The fact she gave you her number, is a good sign. Use the fact that you too have a busy schedule as a light hearted talking point next time, but don't use it in a way that she will listen to you and becomes disappointed because she feels there'll never be time for you both together.
You know what I think she's doing now? Talking to her friends and asking them advice- that there is a big reason you befriend her friends first, because when she asks "Oh do you know <dude> ?" they'll say "Yeah he's such a nice guy!" yatta yatta.
That sounds like a good way to get branded as a friend; you don't want to "hang out" with a girl you want to have a relationship with. You show her that you're interested as soon as she's agreed to hang out with you or showed interest in hanging out with you. The sooner she knows the sooner she can reciprocate or make sure you aren't led on. I don't fucking mean saying "Hey I like you." either, that's fucking weird, but you shouldn't just be a "nice guy" that will get you absolutely nowhere unless the chick has zero self-confidence and never gets hit on. Every other guy has been nice to her and by being nice you're simply every other guy.
Yeah there's truth in this too. It's hard to give advice on this part. Some girls want to know up front what you're intentions are, and some will really appreciate you being forward and respond well. As much as guys hate confrontation and "dating stuff" girls hate it more. If you're clear, it puts them at ease. But also, if you get a girl who's unsure of what she wants or even if she wants to date, then being passive might be good too. I've been told on multiple occasion that when the main guy in Office Space asks out Jennifer Aniston, that' the perfect way to ask a girl out. Something to the effect of "Well I like you, and I wanna get to know you, but I'm going to eat, you should come, but you don't have to."
