I wouldn't call a road game in jacksonville a gimme either.
It also depends on what version of the packers and clevland you get, when people figure out the nfl is unpredictable the better off you'll be, but overlooking opponets is what gets you trap games and upsets.
As a Giants fan, I envy that schedule. Here's what we are looking at:
@ Pittsburgh
Dallas
@ Philadelphia
Baltimore
@ Arizona
@ Washington
Philadelphia
@ Dallas
@Minnesota
As of right now the two soft teams in that run are Min and Dallas X2, neither of which are all that soft. Both of these teams have the potential to be way better than they are playing and show it, though inconsistently.
edit: I forgot Philly. You can add Philly to the soft list, but again, Philly can be a beast if Westbrook gets healthy by the time we play them.
It's probably going to take 3 more weeks for the cowboys to get everyone back and healthy, so more than likely I could probably see us loosing the next couple, hopefuly can make the playoffs at 11-5.
He lead with his shoulder and braced his helmet for the hit. from that angle it's near impossible to put your head anywhere without getting a little contact. Besides, bone jarring blocks like that are the only opportunity for WR's to get pay back for defenders laying them out when they go up for a catch. What goes around comes around I say!
Awesome, didnt realize roy willams (SS)rebroke his forearm yesterday, gone for the season.
Am I the only Bears fan who has always liked Kyle Orton, but still can't get past the weirdness of him being described as having a 'cannon arm'? I mean he's playing phenomenally(at least for a Bears QB), but I still don't know if I'd consider him as having a 'laser' or what the fuck ever...
One good thing about Dallas losing is that, all the bandwagon/fairweather fans are gone. But man that Hines Ward block was amazing. It's a shame they got rid of the "Jacked Up" segment every Monday night before the game. That was something I always looked forward to on Monday Night games.
Meh, not that huge of a loss. He's been getting little playing time on obvious passing downs since he always gets torched.
Dallas sports radio sure is fun today. It seems that Jerry Jones went into the locker room after the game to bitch the team out, since you know, all Wade could do was stand there dumbfounded. Even our defensive coordinator took a seat on the bench during the game... Just looked like no one gave a damn.
Also wanted to shoot Ratliff and Ware for celebrating after a TFL and sack respectively...while being blown out.
My fear of this team is starting to come true: no leaders. When the only person that I can remember getting in anyone's face recently is T.O. I think there are some issues.
Wade has a presser at the top of the hour, going to LOVE hearing his bullshit.
Well, they were my superbowl pick from the NFC til they just got manhandled by the Panthers.
And their defense is so bad. They have spurts of brilliance (re: stopping Adrian Peterson to nothingness), but mostly it's bad. Especially their secondary. Panthers needed that win though.
Brees and co. do have a chance to straighten things up. Colston and Shockey just came back from injury, so a full week of practice will help. Losing Bush though hurts.

This makes me feel better, but it's on the wrong person.
HELL NO!!! GET OFF MY BOAT X( I AM THE DRIVER OF THE BANDWAGON!!! You can ride shotgun if you like! I've been calling for him to start on these boards forever and CALLED IT in the pre-season that he would make people fall for him in Chicago.
GTFO Callisto!! I mean it <3
Not really, but I've been riding that pipe for too long to go out like that. Well maybe Daahan, he's been with the the past few years on this whole Orton trip, he's the only original exception.
I really never thought I'd see him start again after the last 2 years and it bugged me, even when he was considered just a 'game manager' because even then what they needed was someone to not make stupid mistakes, not someone who could put up 30+ a game. Ironically enough now they actually need someone who can put up 30+ a game, and it turns out he's more than a 'game manager'.
But it still fucks with me to all of a sudden hear every announcer like HOLY SHIT ROCKET CANNON LASER ARM, I mean he's doing really well but it doesn't seem like he throws that hard, just accurately.
