Is long distance shooting as impossible as it was in R1? I consider myself pretty good at shooters, but for the life of me I couldn't kill anyone in R1 who was a scoping distance away.

I keep getting Matchmaking failed I was hoping to hit lv 8 medic and lv 4 soldier and spec today.

By long distance shooting do you mean sniping or just firing any gun like a carbine far?

With the carbine the spec uses I was able to snipe a good deals away.

Got my beta key last Friday, pretty fun game. The 8 player Co Op definitely>the multiplayer. The classes are very well balanced and I like how you actually have to work together(though medic can do a bit of "soloing").

The competitive multiplayer isn't that great though... It's probably because I'm so used to CoD4 multiplayer(which in my opinion does NOTHING wrong) so having to shoot an enemy a hundred times to kill them kept annoying the crap out of me. Even with the Prototype Ammo Berserk I rarely in a situation with two other players on the screen was able to kill both.

Still going to buy it though, R1 was my first PS3 game and I loved it. Unless the competitive online improves then I'll probably just play Co Op and save my competitive play for CoD WaW.

I will wtfx, I just been really busy and when I sit down to play a game, fallout 3 is just too sweet not to play it ;/. Dead Space is amazing, I just dont have alot of time atm lol, but I will be on resistance!

Been doing 1P so far, and i've gotten to a pretty hard part haha. I'll jump on co-op in a couple when I get back from the store.

Myself, gekii and graverobber had some fun playing co-op last anyone else intrested in playing ill be on tonight for some co-op action, thus far this game is a ton of fun and they really stepped up the 1p campaign as well.

Would you say it's a definite buy if you were a fan of R1? I've got five bucks down on it at Gamestop but haven't picked it up yet.

Yep, must buy if you were a fan of the first and if your a fan of shooters. The game is massive and is worth the price. Campaign is 20 hrs long and on-line co-op and competetive give endless amounts of replay.
