and this isn't the first time a republican organization has done something like this... there's at least 2 other instances, first the "keep the white house white" buttons in texas and then the "terrorist waffles" in california (iirc).
Well, I know that's bull, because on the first page you said
in response to me not thinking that every racist Obama photoshop needed a brand, new thread. You were already climbing up onto your pedestal.yeah we as a society should just ignore racism, it'll go away on its own.
Even the article wrote: "The Obama campaign declined to comment, saying it does not address such attacks."
So, now Obama thinks we as a society should just ignore racism, right?
thats totally not racist, kool aid is way different than grape drink... hell there arent even any white womenz for him to steal on the currency nor is there a set of dice to play celo
they don't have to comment, but they aren't saying it should be taken off the news either.
you know, I might think this warrants a thread because of the source? if it was a btard image it'd just be in random or the palin thread and that's that, but this is a news story and segue into the issue of lingering racism particularly in the GOP.
but if you feel the need to mod it because you don't find it threadworthy then fucking do it, but stop trying to dance around the issue of a political organization putting this crap out (regardless of how funny it is to people who still think kool-aid and fried chicken jokes are especially edgy).
A "Republican women's group based in California"? I must be missing something as to why this source is important.
Apparently that counts as part of the party establishment. Regardless of what the establishment would have to say about it, I'm guessing the group itself would appreciate being included under that umbrella.
When did I ever threaten to moderate this thread. Actually, when have I ever moderated a thread, period?
I think you are overreacting to this. Some stupid lady in California thought she could get a laugh by pandering to stereotypical thought. Now she's been exposed and pretty much condemned nation-wide. It wasn't like she phoned up McCain and he recommended what foods to stick in there. I doubt most of the group even knows what goes into the newsletter until it comes out.
People do stupid shit all the time, and this person happened to have an outlet. I think she pretty much produced her own punishment, and has now hurt herself, her club's image, and the image of her party overall by promoting such behavior. That's why I feel like it's a case where people should just roll their eyes and move on.
I mostly agree, although I also think we should all type "LOLLERFLAKES", shoop it some more, post it on /b/ and watch the sage fly, then post it on vnnforum.com and see what they have to say about it. For research purposes, of course.
Wouldn't a neighborhood book club be called a "book group" ?
So for all we know this is 5 women that started a club about being republican and made this.
Extending this to the official republican party is a stretch without a source, not to mention stereotyping all republicans the same way.
Liberal Media Drive-by media mainstream media yadda yadda etc

The group is obviously sanctioned by that State's GoP if you read carefully.
She obviously doesn't find it all that funny anymore and Apologizing as she should. So it was obviously racially offensive but its all about the lulz right?
btw love how she stated " I don't think in racist terms" pointing out she once supported Republican Alan Keyes, an African-American who previously ran for president.
The old "I'm not a racist I have a Black friend!" defense
lol that's funny as hell
idk how McCain honestly said he is proud of his supporters
It's great living in the UK where we detest every single one of our politicians equally and primetime TV shows can make incredibly bad-taste jokes about things like Prescott's bulemia and debauchery without consequence.
ITT: We don't know what the fuck racism or sexism means, which is not surprising since most of you mother fuckers don't know what the fuck natural selection means either.
what's racial selection uncle kuya?
