Bookshelf/Cartonnier - 20 spaces. 4 will be all you ever need to hit the cap.

9-Drawer Almirah works, for 16 slots.

    Dresser for 15 slots.

    These aren't cheap.

To me, needing to keep my Moglification clothcraft and wanting spend as little gil as possible, Armoire's were a good middle ground. 14 storage for 20-30k.

400k gil for 76 extra slots is a bargain as far as I'm concerned.

Bahuts are 8 storage for about 8k each (on my server). thats about 80k to max your storage.

getting 20x4>8x10 since you lose twice as many moghouse spaces to get the same ammount of storage spaces.

For someone that doesn't care about mog house look, what's the cheapest way to max storage? I remember as a newbie having a MH full of Water Jugs from Rabao..

That's a fairly stupid way to max storage since you end up eating inventory room to hold the jugs in the first place..

as for my 100'th post I'll take it, but yeah what the guy above me said, you lose your mog house spaces, not how your mog house looks so you'll gain 80 storage spaces but you lose out of 40 mog house spaces.

best way is 4 x20 peices for only losing 4 mog spaces yet gaining 80.

Cheapest is going to be just using furniture that SE gives you from special events or quests, but those usually have small storage numbers and as others have said that's not as beneficial because of the loss of safe slots. However, I will admit that the storage on one of my mules consists of just the bonbori and festival dolls they mailed to me and all my mules.

It's not just about looks; it's also about what you're willing to spend* and whether you want any moghancements or not. I solo a lot with no fancy 2-boxed 75s, probably on jobs that...shouldn't necessarily be soloing. I like Moghancement: Experience. So I have a mahogany bed, White 9-Drawer Almirah, and 3 mannequins to help me get that. They balance out the other stuff in my MH.

If I didn't do all my crafting on mules, I'd probably want a moghancement for that instead. At the very least, since I do fish on my main, I want to avoid Moghancement: Fishing (which makes you fish up more items).

I'm also "sentimental" enough to not demand total efficiency; I have all 4 flags hanging, plus an Ex stationary set from a quest, and I like the snowmen too. I'm losing several slots that way, but I manage. There are things I'd rather toss first if it really became an issue. I don't go for the crazy decorative stuff like Hobby Bo and aquariums, but I don't mind a mostly-efficient MH with the right Moghancement that looks moderately nice.

*As noted, a good value for your main might not quite apply to your mules.

What's the best way to configure storage for Moghancement woodworking? I'm not huge on storage/enchantments, so I know precious little about it. I stocked up on bahuts figuring it was earth elemental, and now i'm stuck wtih fishing.

What other furniture do you have in your MH? Pretty sure bahut gave moghancement gardening. Since bahut has strength of 10 it would overpower Drawing Desk (strength 9).

Your best choice for earth furnishing would be Gallipots. They give 8 storage each just like bahuts, but their elemental strength is 8.

The colored Almirahs are also good. 9-drawer has strength 9 (less than signboard), 6-drawer has strength 8 (less than original crafting furniture), and they have 16 and 15 storage, respectively.
