Random Image Thread XV: I accidentally the whole image

Another stairway diving story.

A guy at work did that stair jumping thing successfully, but on a smaller scale. Half the size of a staircase in that gif, and it wasn't an escalator. He claimed he could go down a flight of stairs without touching any of the stairs. I wanted to see it, thinking he'd just slide down the handrail or walk out the door and take the elevator. He just jumped off (instead of diving off like that guy) and grabbed hold of the hand rail half way down and used it to kind of swing his legs forward. He landed on his feet then rubbed his knees and said that was a very stupid thing to do now that he has a little girl.

The key points were probably it being a smaller staircase and him not going head first.

I've had a lolipop once similar to those, except it dried centipede. It tasted like raspberry chicken to be honest.

There's a small candy store near the pier in Pismo Beach called Hot Licks I think, but they have all the dried/chocolate-covered/flavor dusted bug/scorpion/worm/etc crap you could ever want. Pretty terrible shit. My personal favorites to get grossed out looking at are the bacon & cheddar crickets or sour cream & onion mealworms.

Watch the jumper's right arm, no way the arm would land like that, it would have been twisted backwards-- and you can see it twisting backwards in the last frame before the switch.

I think the idea is to use your hands to slow your fall and slide down, and then stick your feet out at the end to land it. It seems like he jumped too far or his hands got stuck on the rail during his descent, or maybe it's simply impossible for a human to slow their fall from a height of that magnitude. Either way, he eats it pretty damn hard at the end and I enjoy watching it.
