Funny how things come full circle.
Nintendo is usually ahead of it's time. While in that era, CDs gave better sound quality and storage, the cartridge had better load times and saving was possible without mem cards.
Now today everything is going back to cartridges. Not only are they catching up in storage (see SSDs) they provide everything the CD has and more.
Aren't SSDs a whole lot more expensive to produce than optical storage, too?
Yes, they are still inferior for their price, thats why I said theyre catching up.
Do we have to blow on them till necrosis sets in before they actually work too?
I just put some ammonia on it and got rid of all the dust at once.
