Well he was looking to trade for another system therefore the tip.

Eh, that is if you find some dumbass to pay $500 bucks for a used system. Paying $400 bucks for a new PS3 is a better investment than an inferior used system for $500 bucks. Anyways, just wait because you're not going to get less money during Christmas than you'd get now (unless there's sudden increase in supply etc.). Good luck~
Good call the Wii has fuck all coming out for it. I'd take a PS3 or 360 over Wii any day if you're actually a gamer. I'd sell the Wii on E-bay as opposed to trading it in, you'll get way more for it.
I got a ps2 old xbox and a Ds I want to trade in but gamestop would probably only give me 60$ >
My sister got a Wii and even know I can play it whenever I don't get much play out of it. I find the wii only good for casual gaming. I love my ps3, I'm playing it right now. It has a lot of nice games for it and a built in blu ray and you can check ur mail on it :3
Yeah I play my PS3 and 360 about the same amount, love both consoles, refyse to buy a wii tll monster hunter 3 comes out.
For working systems with all parts/cables:
Large Ps2: $20
Slim Ps2: $25
Xbox: $15
Original DS: $15
DS Lite: $50
i think those are the current trade values, also the special is a bonus $20 tradein per system, so that'd be an extra $60 just from that. so it isnt less than 60 ;p
I bought my Wii for $250, put a modchip in it (~$30), burned about 20 games and played it for a year. Sold it on blackcats for almost $400.
Izembo, what Gamestop do you work in? For some reason I got the impression I might have walked past your store before but I want to make sure.
Motherfucking Animal Crossing: City Folk, that's reason enough to own a Wii! But in seriousness, and on topic, if you're dead set on getting rid of it, then yeah, wait until November and try Ebay. Although truth be told, with only a day and a half to play a week, you're not going to feel like any system is filling the gaming void. The PS3 has a handful of good games right now, with tons more coming out, but most of them require a pretty lengthy investment of time.
Either way, I've got a PS3 and a Wii, had the Wii since day 1 and just got the PS3 recently, and I think they both fill a different area in terms of gaming needs.
what're you talking about, apparently youve never played animal crossing
Or played it but didn't think it was OMGSYSTEMSELLER material.
Animal Crossing is a fun tittle, but the same game that they released on the gcube with added speak function is hardly worth buying a system for, monster hnter 3 or madworld, now thats a diffrent story.
i live right near edgewood and go in there frequently
I like Animal Crossing. That's the last game I need to buy for the Wii this year. Got Sam and Max season one (the comp version is cheaper, but no wide screen), Secret of Mana, Tetris Party and World of Goo within the last month or so, so I'm fine for the year. I can't even complain about RPGs for the rest of the year since Eternal Poison, Persona 4 and Fallout 3 are so close, even if they aren't on Wii.
I just don't know, I wouldn't touch my 360 for months at a time this year since I don't like most of the multiplayer games, but I don't consider it a waste at all. Most of my DS play time this year was from titles released last year also, but I LOVE my DS. Is there really nothing coming for Wii that you want? I was thinking about it after my last post, and I'd be sure before selling it, since it's a waste of money/time if you are just going to rebuy again. I also expect a PS3 price drop before summer of next year, which would save ya money. I can understand if you do though, as much as I like my Wii I know it's not for everyone.
Yeah, I may just wait until next year to see what is coming up for either system. I was just getting irritated that I had nothing to really play for the Wii. What I did find out though is that some of the games I don't play anymore had enough resell value to be worth a game. So, when I see something I might like I'll do that instead. A lot of the games I'm interested in for the PS3 aren't out yet, and though I really want to play Metal Gear 4 to finish out the story I guess it can wait.
