Vince Young was doomed to fail; D-ends / OLBs in the NFL are actually disciplined unlike college, hence why you see so many hybrid running / passing QBs fail, the success of the QB option in college vs. NFL is another example of this (along with the fact that teams don't want their $$$ QBs taking 10-15 hits a game from LBs). Michael Vick is (was) an exception as he actually posed a passing threat and his running ability was exceptional. Young should have been a duck hunter and his ability to turn footballs into wounded ducks is uncanny. There are other arguably successful players in this category such as Randel Cunningham back in the day, but it's definitely not the standard.

Titans are going to destroy the Colts for three reasons:

A) Colts' defense is terrible, LenDale White and Chris Johnson are going to do the same thing they did to the Chiefs. White will hammer the ball for 3-5+ every time and Chris Johnson is the fastest player in the NFL currently, possibly ever; he gets a step and its 20+. Kerry Collins is not Peyton Manning, but he is a seasoned and skilled QB who does not make mistakes and has some good outlets like Alge Crumpler. The only difference between this week and last week is that the Colts can actually put up points to compensate whereas the Chiefs cannot, but that brings me to point B...

B) Titans have the best defense in the league no questions asked. Albert Haynesworth, Kyle Vanden Bosch, and Jevon Kearse as three of the front four, depending on formation, is fucking absurd. Kearse clears the corner almost faster than the O tackle can wheel to meet him. If things go awry, look for Haynesworth to begin cleating people's faces >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwxMRPTsYeo . Peyton gets sacked 5+ times and Michael Griffin picks at least 1.

C) Game is at home; I have lived in Nashville, TN for 5 years and I lived in the NY/PA area for 18 years. Football in the south is a different beast and Titans stadium is a scary place on Sunday let alone on a Monday night. The closest I've seen to a stadium like it is the old Vet Stadium in Philly, fueled by cheesesteaks and old beer, Eagles fans are legit.

Prediction: 27-17 Titans

Also, the Bills definitely beat the lolphins to remain atop the AFC East.

You realize Philly fans boo'd McNabb who took them to conference championships right? And your stadium travel must been very small. I know Seattle owns the Titans as far as fields are concerned. It's louder, better looking, hell, it may be the best venue in the U.S. I'd probably say night games at LSU are the loudest college venues.

College stadiums are a different beast, K-State is... somewhat known for its fans love to travel, but that's about it, fanwise.

When we were undefeated ranked 1/2 in the polls in 98 and about to beat Nebraska for the first time in 30 years and clinch the big 12 north title, it was as intense and loud as anyplace can possibly be. And then we sat there for 30 minutes afterwards until finally the students managed to tear down the "indestructable" goal posts that had been installed that off-season.

The Colts played at their old stadium and when the opposition was playing offense, you couldn't talk to your neighbor...Manning gets out there calling audibles and you could hear a pin drop in that stadium. There's so many ways to justify the Titans trouncing the colts, "it's going to be loud" isn't one of them.

Kinda sucks, got called up for his first game as a pro, had 2 big plays with a special teams TD and an INT, then placed on the IR for the rest of the year. Hopefully we can see more out of him next year.

The best game ive been to was a Florida gators game last year when they played flroida state shit was crazy intense, I had a great time. Ive been to a few panthers games too(when they played the cowboys) and it was fun as well.

Yeah, that playoff game when the Cowboys came to Charlotte and got STOMPED was a fucking awesome game! I could not agree more.

We are also the second largest stadium in the US. I haven't been to games you say? Try about half of the NFL ones + Atlanta Braves playoffs series + Tennessee/Alabama + Tennessee/Florida + Peyton Manning 1996 1997 home games + 1998 Championship UT year home games + etcetcetcetcetc.
