I got to go see the Steelers play the Ravens in Baltimore... You could have thought it was a damn home game for the Steelers with the amounts of Terrible Towels you saw.

And I already got my tickets for the Nov 3rd MNF game against Washington. I'm assuming I'll see more of the same, that's how it was for the preseason game last year; so much black and gold it was a sight to see.

This MNF game will be the best so far this season. Weltall was telling me we are having a "Blue Out", which they are supposed to be handing out light blue shirts for everyone to wear as you walk into the stadium. I haven't really kept up with much this week seeing how I am prepping for my marathon but I know I am specifically flying back to Nashville right after my run to come to this game. Look for me on TV! I might wear something nuts, not sure yet.

The only thing that makes our stadium shitty is the club level. I wish they would get rid of that tier completely and replace it with real fans. Oh and lol at everyone posting all this polls and shit, especially from ESPN. While you are there, go suck on Pete Carrol and The Patriots dick.

I look forward to coming back Monday and seeing that all you guys and Weltall will probably still be arguing about who dick, I mean stadium, is the best.

As for the "toughest NFL stadium" debate, it is about as subjective as they come. Orchard Park or Lambeau after October must be a bitch though.

I had probably the worst experience of my life at the Giants/Bills game in Orchard Park last December. I believe the Bills were up 14-0 when all of a sudden it started pouring freezing rain.

Needless to say right at that point the Giants started destroying Buffalo. It was the first time I ever left a game at halftime, and it was because I was unprepared for that freezing rain. I was soaked from head to toe and cold.

All this talk about stadium noise is making me reminisce about the Vet, man what a great place to watch an Eagles game. That place was such a shit hole, but at the same time so endearing. The Linc just can't capture the same feel the Vet had.

There's been a lot of very very good MNF games this week, so if this turns out to be the best, it'll be quite amazing. And Titans stadium should serve Mike's Hard Lemonade, bitches love Mike's Hard lemonade. Oh, and GL with the race, eat well this week. Really well...

I *believe* Vet stadium was the only NFL venue with a court in the stadium to try unruly fans at the game lol. I went to a few birds' games while I lived in Philly, definitely would not ever wear an opposing team's jersey in the upper deck.

Steelers fans are plentiful everywhere, it's amazing. I went to a Seahawks-Steelers game @ Qwest Field a few years ago and probably 20% of the people there were wearing Black & Gold and/or waving Terrible Towels, and Seattle is about as far away from Pittsburgh as you can get. Every time I've watched the Steelers play a road game on TV, it's similar.

I think it's a by-product of their incredible success in the 70's, when the NFL was becoming big and starting to be broadcast on TV every Sunday nationwide. I know a fair amount of Steeler fans in the northwest, but most of them are in their 40's or older, I haven't seen a lot of that fandom translating to younger fans.

Well a lot and speaking from my own personal experience with being a part of the Steeler Nation in Northern VA. The jobs especially in Western PA with the lack of steel mills and coal mines a lot of people left the area in the late 70's. My dad was one of them to take a job with the FBI in DC instead of doing that. I think a ton of people have left to better economic areas. Making it so like in my family Dad -> sons.

Saphirea where in NOVA are you? Go skins! I think Clinton Portis is slow as hell though. He needs to rest and sometimes I see plays where he just ran 30 yards and THEN another running play. Come on, but still 5-2.

But I like the skins, the area seems to just change around here into a great atmosphere when the Skins are doing well.

Portis is a good back, with the addition of other backs, I think they'll start RBBC there and that's a good thing for keeping his legs healthy.

Portis is a fucking work-horse. Theres not many backs that can handle every aspect of the RB position and do it as well as Portis can. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves in Jim Zorn's offense. Campbell is playing smart football but they still heavily rely on portis to move the chains.

This has nothing to do with stadium noise or fan base or w/e, but apparently Brady had 3 total surgeries so far to clear out the infection, and is looking at a six week antibiotic plan to try to clear that out.

They are rumoring a MRSA infection (Staph, like your hip and like the mess than took a year to clear up in Regan's ears). If that's the case, it very well could be a career ender, especially the hospital strain.
