no, it's not an issue. i didn't just randomly switch servers like you are suggesting. each time i've moved servers, i've had good reasons. one of the big factors being, i don't have a mage job, and most decent LS have restrictions on recruiting members without one. i've had some bad luck with finding a shell, that isn't full of pricks, or some stupid shit didn't happen to make me leave.

I normally don't post in this section, because most of the time people don't really take these posts serious, but I figured I would make an exception. What Aes said about beating blev in a parse on pld is true, I remember seeing the results.

All the shit Jaybar said I agree with also.


Now onto what I feel that needs to be said, and hasn't been said in depth. Blev was kicked from Prophets from what Aes and Jaybar said, but also he was kicked because he decided to skip optional events to XP. I use the word optional loosely because the way that attendance was set up at the time if it was a camp before like 4pm est (or around that time) your attendance didn't suffer, but you were rewarded with extra credit, as mentioned earlier in this post.

And to affirm what Aes said, yes people were happy he got kicked. It was one thing to skip these camps, everyone did at some point or another, not a big deal. But the difference between when he did it and others did, he made no attempt to hide that he was doing it, and would constantly rant, as also mentioned earlier, while we as a linkshell were camping things like Fafnir.

I will also say, that yes it has been over a year since I've had any real dealings with him, and he has probably changed. Anyways, good luck if you take him, good luck if you don't.

i only missed 1 Faf while i was online, and that was because i had to log to go to work. i never did any kind of rant. i was always joking around, but i guess you take the game too seriously to see that.

the way the LS rule was written said.......extra credit events are optional.
it did not say, extra credit events are optional, unless you are online.
to kick me over such a poorly worded rule, that wasn't even explained to me until after i was kicked, was BS.

not even gonna argue with you about the sky thing, as neither of our stories have changed. that shows, what happened was probably due to leaders not paying attention or communicating with the LS. no point in even bringing it up anymore.

nobody even bothered trying to tell me, that those "optional" events, were actually mandatory if you were online, until after i was even kicked. so, sorry i didn't sit in Attowah Chasm for 8 hours, waiting for Timmy to pop. i have better things to do, like spend time with my daughter. Timmy and Khim are the only camps i ever missed, because i see lvling a job as more beneficial than sitting around for 1/4 of my day, while i wait for a mob to pop. moreover, when i don't even get to participate in the fight most of the time.

i can also see why you guys didn't see that i joked most of the time, as sometimes text is hard to see any kind of emotion or sarcasm. i suppose i probably would have gotten along better with some of you, if i had spent more time on vent.

I don't remember how many times the leaders had to refer to that thread so many times that it got etched into my head. Don't act like no one ever told you, you probably just passed it up when reading.

You aren't expected to camp 36-72hr HNMs like Tiamat/Cerb/Khim except when:

A) It was <3hrs to force
B) You wanted priority on drop

The only people that ever camped those were Pittle and several mules. Khim and KV were special since people that dedicated their time for ToD or when it popped could get sword.

An HNM LS requires a certain amount of dedication. Is it so hard to dedicate 3-4hrs of your day to camp a highly contested NM? I understand you have outside priorities, and maybe that's what you should be focusing on and not an HNM LS.

well, having been laid off, wanting to spend time with my daughter, and working 2 part-time jobs during the time most of the negative stuff happened.......i would say that probably had a large impact on the way things turned out. you're probably right. at the time, i definitely would have been better off quitting the LS, if only temporarily. at least until my RL was in order.

i guess i was more focused on RL, and too much to be able to focus on the LS. but i wasn't intentionally skipping events, and don't recall ever doing it. oh well, it's over and done with. i have ample time to do HNM now, and i have a steady full-time job to support my family. so, i'd appreciate it if you guys would lay off me a bit. old shit is old.
