I don't know what I'd do. I'd much rather hand over my wallet and have the guy get the hell away...but what guarantee do I have that the guy who's mugging me isn't going to physically harm me also? If I have the chance or I fear for my life I'd rather have the option of defending myself on equal grounds with the mugger.

And my point was you could have more people shot since people will be directly confronting a shooter rather than running.

I'm pretty sure they can run without the need for people to CC in school. Unless theres some weird laws of physics that require a gun on premises in order to run.

I don't ever want to see CC in colleges. That is just about the worst idea ever. Lets say 2 guys in the room have a gun concealed and dude number 3 is Mr.Killer. He starts shooting and both the guys with CC draw their weapons to help defend the innocent students. How exactly can they tell who is the bad guy? For all they know the second guy with the gun is working with the killer. Having everyone carrying guns will only make the situation worse.

If you died because someone defending themselves hit you on accident it'd be a shitty way to die. And common sense probably doesn't apply in this situation as you are freaking out. No one really knows how they are going to react if a crazed gunman is shooting people near you.

I made a rebuttal to someone talking about a revolver in a hip holster a la john wayne or w/e in that I would prefer to carry concealed with my semi automatic. thats not bragging nor is it going into detail about my gun.

next post was in response to carrying in a backpack, which would be stupid, and I listed better ways to cc.

I didn't know I had to be an officer to own guns, or carry mine legally, or post about it. I never said anything about the OPERATOR techniques i would use to breach the door and sweep the room.

That's the point. You can run whether someone has a gun or not. Having the gun simply gives people another option.

Sootings happen pretty often in plenty of areas where people carry weapons. If the shooter of the attacker getting shot is such a worry that it would be brought up 5 times in one thread then it should be pretty easy to fish up a handful of examples.

I'll take is the same as I prefer over a hip holster out in the open. I would wonder why an interviewer would ask me how I carry my gun.
