Bad logic.
No one has yet to give an even slightly convincing argument why CC on campus is significantly different than *anywhere else*(where these retarded scenarios people keep mentioning rarely to never happen as is) besides bullshit nanny state "think of the children!" illogic, especially when we're talking about a place where virtually everyone is an adult.
You need to ask your copper friends the kind of question they asked again. Research it good because its obvious you have no clue at the kind of questions they ask and how they ask them.
They ask over 1500 questions over an 8hr period with 0 breaks. the questions might seem harmless but trust me every question is there for a reason and how you answer determines where or not you're qualified. they can ask "what do you perfer pens or pencil's" and it would mean something.
Turn the schools into the Reservoir Dogs stand-off scene!
Tarantino was on to something!
Moar Guns people! The answer is obvious!
Or could be the rooms with one fucking exit or two exits where the maniac is closer to both exits as oppose to the charles bronson wannabe. the fact that you're arguing with me proves that your logic is flawed. because to you everything is black and white with 0 variables.
We on the other hand prefer to look at things as they actually are where bad guys carry guns around regardless of the law, and regardless of if it's on a school campus or not. And where schools are only a tiny bit easier to get a gun into than a plane. Just a little bit though. Good example.
btw noone is in favor of actively looking to kill someone, it's always the last resort. you know nothing about ccw.
I have no idea if you're just trolling like khamsin, but if you're not, you're gravely overestimating peoples reflex and quick thinking in this kind of situation. It's not like everyone in the vicinity is going to be staring intently at the killer(s) before it happens. Ok, you hear some gunshots/screaming, turn around and there's two or more students you don't know pointing handguns at each other. What now? Pull your gun out and join the party? Unless the gunmen is also acting crazy in some other way, or the location/trajectory of the shots was obvious (IE: someone bleeding,) how the hell would you know who shot? What happens if there are multiple gunmen, with multiple other students drawing guns to 'defend' themselves? What happens when a student who correctly identifies the gunmen, manages to miss and kills an innocent bystander? I mean we are talking about crowded college campuses here.
What could happen as a result of a typical school shooting scenario isn't as troubling as just the additional school shootings that could happen just as a result of even a low amount of students carrying concealed weapons. I've seen several fights on college campuses, when these kids are suddenly packing guns, so many stupid fights could escalate into shootings... it's a scary thought.
Honestly, I would much rather live with the extremely minute chance of this type of shooting happening at my school, than a bunch of kids toting guns around, and/or any ridiculous/pointless security measures that maybe make people feel safer, but do nothing to stop smart gunmen.
Again...shootings happen in all sorts of areas. Rural areas, crowded areas, city streets, back alleys, everywhere. And people carry guns legally in all these areas. Why aren't I reading about a OMG WHO TO SHOOT situation all the time? Just because it's a school doesn't turn everyone into complete idiots shooting at random peopole.
