I attend (at the moment) the largest university in the US and I think Concealed Carry is the stupidest idea for Campus. It is an institution of higher learning, not a NRA HQ, put the god damned guns away. All we need is some stupid drunk fuck with a small penis complex to get pissed off and start firing and bang, people drop.

I'd much rather attend my lecture halls without knowing that 5% of them could be carrying handguns. It's not exactly comforting nor would it stop stupid shit like this from happening. You can't fix campus shootings by giving more people guns, it's like trying to achieve peace by bombing the fuck out of someone. (oh wai...)

What happened at VT was terrible, whatever happens at Western Kentucky (hopefully no one is injured) will be similar. IMO, I would rather the police patrol campus occasionally (some cops at OSU can be seen riding bikes around the campus) than have to put up with Concealed Carry. I respect concealed carry anywhere outside of an education environment. You have you're right to carry a weapon I understand that, but not on a Campus.

If I can carry everywhere else why shouldn't I be allowed to carry in school where I spend most of my time? I agree with the other places I cannot carry. alcoholics already are barred from licensed concealed carry and licensees are barred from carrying in an establishment serving alcohol. studies show states with concealed carry have lower crime rates.

Dude seriously its not a good Idea. You can get all the training you want Theres is still alot of people out there that shouldn't be allowed to make as big as a decision as when to engage and when not too. Cue joe horn.

I've got friends that go to Western, but even though this is bad to say this, at least it was a gang shooting and not crazed fucking gunmen. At least that's what it sounds like.
