Helpwith Statistics Proect

Hello everyone, I need some data for a statistics project and hope I can get it from the forums. The basis of the project is to able to predict students GPA on the basis of hours of MMO's played and being employed or unemployed. I don't need any personal information or anything other than those three factors. I need atleast 50 entries for the project requirements. If those who respond would format responses af followed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who help!

GPA: X.XX
Hours of MMO played: XX.XX EDIT: (Number of hours ina 7 day week)
Employment Status: Employed or Unemployed (Do not need place of employment or hours, qualitative date only)

I am almost done my dual degrees so I am taking my last 2 classes while working about 35hours week.

You might also want to ask how many units the person is taking.

If you want to run an ANOVA have your:

DV = GPA

IV(1) = Hours spent playing online games a week
IV(2) = Units enrolled in / average of units taken a semester

This way you can ask both people who play and don't play online games. While the question of current employment is an interesting one and could confound your data,you need to turn it into a continuous variable so I would also ask how many hours a person works on average per week and use that as your 3rd IV. If you have access to SPSS at your school it should be pretty easy to run an ANOVA. Just look for it under Analyze > Compare Means.

My stats teacher said to limit my qualitative to two variables, and one quantitative variable cause its a regressional analysis test. He didn't specify all that, and also I will have to check stats with TAs to make sure is ok to use

FFXI = 27 hours a week

I work on a need biases, so no real number I can give you on that one.

Do you go to school full time? How the fuck do you manage all that with the wife & kid?

I quit just a few months after having the kid. And yeah, full time school. I'd leave work and go strait to school til about 8pm. My child hadn't woken up when I left for work and was already asleep by the time I got home from school. WIth nothing to do after school, I'd make dinner and play FFXI. I never seen her during the week. I decided to quit when the fall semester came up (she was born in april).
