Using + in Firefox's address bar

    Hi everyone,
I've been configuring my Firefox install that I keep around to behave similar to my Opera install. In the process, I've encountered a rather annoying issue that I can't seem to figure out, and it's also difficult to craft a Google query for. Basically, I have certain bookmark keywords setup for easy searching of FFXIAH and other sites, however, if I search for an item like Haubergeon +1 (ie: ffxiah Haubergeon +1), it gets sent as Haubergeon 1 which messes up the search results. While I don't use Firefox too often, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue? Thanks!

    URL hex code for + = 2B

So try %2B in your query instead, or might be just 2B. See if that works.

edit: might have trouble with the space too, code for space is 20, (or %20).

Mm, it happens on Wiki too, and works fine on both in Opera. :3 But Virusiidx brought up a good point, Opera autochanges it to the URL hex code but Firefox maintains the +, guess there's nothing I can do besides typing in the hex myself. ;\

What exactly are you doing? Like I said, I'm not going to FFXIAH and looking for Haubergeon +1 there, I have a bookmark keyword for various sites so I can type, for example, ffxiah Haubergeon +1 into my address bar and it'll search for Haubergeon +1 on FFXIAH (accomplished by right clicking on the FFXIAH item search box and using the "Add a keyword for this Search" option).

The newest nightly from last night http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o.../latest-trunk/

I am using windows 64 bit though, but I can't imagine that would make a difference for this.
