My Kids enjoy it when Kobe makes the big balls gesture after a big shot. I think the NBA needs even more gesturing. More Crotch chops and neck slices are always a good thing.

Reason why it's a big deal is because everyone thought LBJ had more "class" and was going to congratulate the other team and fellow Olympian on the other team. TNT thought to point out that LeBron always comes out and talks to the media, but he went straight for the bus after talking to his mother on the phone. Carmello gave Kobe a hug and congratulated him after his team lost and I think thats what people were expecting from Lebron as it shows "class" even though most of the time it's fake sportsmanship.

ESPN I think blew it out of proportion though because they were butthurt due to the fact that they ballwashed Lebron something fierce all season and he went out the way he did by not talking to the media or congratulating the other team. Honestly, if he doesn't want to at least he's being honest...he was pissed off that his team lost and wanted to gtfo. He also probably didn't want to face all the questions because a lot of people were expecting him to carry his team to the finals and many regarded him as the best player in the NBA, yet he came up short.

He brought his team really far but it just proved that in the NBA you need more than one person to show up in order for you to win in the playoffs. For Lebron's sake, I hope he doesn't stay on the Cavs. That franchise is going no where unless they can pick up someone like Bosh, but if the Cavs pay Lebron as much as they would need to to keep him, I don't think they could get another great player.

99% of Kobe haters don't care about his court problems, they don't care about his attitude and they certainly don't care about his so called "ball-hogging", these are just sources of ammo.

They hate him because he was a threat to Jordan's legacy when he came into the league. Since then Kobe haters have latched onto anyone who can compete with Kobe as the best player aka McGrady, Wade and now Lebron. The interesting thing is they don't see these other guys to be toppling Jordan's legacy, they see them as toppling Kobe so they're willing to overlook any personality traits that they usually hate.

Not a Jordan fan, so I will say Kobe isnt and never will be the "next Jordan" He might have been a couple years ago, but he has a shitty personality. Really. Jordan is Jordan is Jordan. The world was a very different place during his time. It'd be ridiculous to think someone would be able to touch his legacy just with stats...because that was only a part of what made Jordan the star he is.

In this day and age, with the way sports, the media, society...THE WORLD has changed, it's impossible to ever replace/tarnish/diminish his legacy.
