Throw some raybans on Duncan and that pic is full of win..

Jameer Nelson is back in force, looks as sharp as he did before the injury so far
What a great story if he plays well in this series.
What the F at ABC playing Michael Jacksons "Thriller" while going to commercial break, that caught me off guard...
wow@nelson
on the other hand, if the magics lose they won't have an excuse
Nice first half from both teams.
Bad 2nd qtr from the magic, but they play their best ball in the second half. Lakers play their worst ball in the second half.
Interesting to see how this ends, or if they start Nelson in the 2nd half.
Yeah. I woke up late and saw him in the game. I could have sworn both Van Gundy and the Orlando newspaper that there was pretty much no chance Nelson plays in Game 1 or in the series at all. I guess they were just trying to trick people.
He played really well from what I saw. I hope the lakers don't pull away in this one, I want an exciting finish lol.
Have to give props to the guy though, he's playing like he never left.
Though if there was a time to bring him back it would be on the Magic's home floor.
I honestly think this will be a boring series in comparison to the rest of the playoffs we've gotten. I don't see how this series can top the series where we've gone to Game 7's, epic walk-off shots, etc. I know some people are hyping it up as a potentially high scoring series between two teams who know how to score and what not, but.. I just don't see it. Lakers being in is fine due to them being good and having a huge fanbase, but Orlando is meh. Hell, Cleveland would have been meh to me because of LeBron isn't on fire/jacking up shots like crazy and the other guys play bad, Cleveland is terrible.
I know people like Colin Cowherd (lol) is saying these finals will be good BECAUSE the Lakers are in it, but I don't think that's the only reason. I honestly doubt the ratings of this series even get close to Boston/LA from last year (for obvious reasons) and I don't think they will be good in general. I know I went Lakers in a sweep, which is kind of stupid, I know.. but I do think LA can win in 5. They'll win the first two in LA, and then Orland will win one, think they are back in it, and promptly lose the next two. That's my opinion on things.
And Laker fans... don't try to play the negativity card of "Oh, I don't know.. Orlando is *really* good.." because I just don't buy it. If Orlando isn't making threes, which they did all during the Cleveland series, then they just aren't that good.
HOLY SHIT GASOL HAS HANGTIME LOL
wtf kobe exploding lol and I saw the bubba look! ahaha
Orlando lives or dies by the 3, they aren't nailing them tonight (thankfully)...I can see a comeback in the 4th, I call finals jitters-
Indeed. If they aren't making 3's left and right, and with the fact that LA's got three guys to throw at Dwight (plus another guy on the bench), it makes it tough on him. Yes, I said it'd be hard for them to defend him, but I mean, when Orlando isn't making their shots, why cover them heavily? Just deny Dwight, and Orlando's fucked.
LA's up 22. No. I don't call a comeback. If Orlando gets it to at least 10, I'll be surprised. I doubt that'll even happen.
It's never good when one player out scores the whole other team in a quarter. Bryant had 18 and magic scored 15 total lol![]()
Where did Howard go?
Well I just believed the Lakers were gonna choke just like Dimmauk said T0T
But yea, good game for the Lakers, the Magic really didn't hit their shots tonight...I don't expect the same Magic next game-
Should be interesting to see how the Magic respond.
Live by the 3, die by the 3...
As a Lakers fan, I would say tonight the Lakers didn't win but more of Orlando lost because they weren't making their 3's. Let's face it, the Lakers have a problem with defending pick & roll and that's what Orlando is running allowing them to make the extra passes or to jack up a 3. They are a deadly team in fact I believe they made 22 three pointers in one game so their shooting is nothing to be underestimated. They shot 23 three pointers tonight, and to me that's way too many attempts defensively.
First game of the finales generated less buzz then half of a mid-season episode of Lost. Because the Lakers won? Or just not many care in general?
